Comfortable, well appointed, clean and cozy.

It was very nice to be up a wooded canyon with a burbbling creek. (Kids would love to play in that creek.) Not being kids, we enjoyed the hot tub and watching deer come down the hillside to the creek. The regional park at the end of the road provided a hike to a mountain top with a great view. The house was charming, though the second bedroom was small. All in all, a great experience.

A Gem!

  • 5 of 5

This place is a real gem. The house is very cute and well stocked. It's situated on a shaded creek which is a perfect location to savor a glass of local wine. Kenwood is about 1.5 miles away downhill with tons of wineries restaurants and a great little grocery store. A few miles uphill is a lovely state park with lots of great hikes. Would definitely recommend for a couple or a small family.

Quiet, relaxing get-away in the mountains

  • 4 of 5

We (two couples) enjoyed our first visit to Sonoma County and this house made all the difference. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. It is a quiet neighborhood. We loved sitting by the fire pit every night and listening to the babbling brook. The house was our retreat every night after long days of wine tasting ;)

Charming retreat

  • 5 of 5

My three friends and I had the most wonderful time staying at this delightful, cozy retreat. The house was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with the basics. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with our coffee, hearing the gentle sound of the creek, and even had a visit from a deer one day. The property is conveniently located to many fine wineries, but set far enough off the main highway to preserve that private 'oasis' feel. The photos posted by the property owner are spot on so you can count on what you see in them. I would recommend this property to others and would stay here again. It was a fantastic, relaxing home away from home.

While in the area, I recommend a visit to the Kunde Winery. We enjoyed tasting their delicious wines, sitting outside on the veranda.

Great place, very quiet but wish the water pressure was better.

  • 5 of 5

The house is as pictured, there is a creek that runs behind the house and it was very serene. Unfortunately it rained the weekend we were at the house, so we didn't get to enjoy the deck, fire pit or grill, but we were able to use the fireplace, so that was pretty cool. The house was nice decorated and our stay was very comfortable. Our only gripe was that we wished the water pressure was better in the shower and kitchen sink, but this didn't take away from the experience of how nice the house was at all. One other note is that the house did not have salt, I thought I read that they had basic necessities for cooking (although it could have been from another property and I got the descriptions mixed up because I went through a lot of listing before deciding on this one) so I didn't think to bring salt. It's such a basic kitchen staple and I think it would be nice if it could be provided.
