Milos is a spacious three bedroom villa in south west paros in elevated position
‘Milos’ is a three bedroom house, with two bathrooms, a spacious open plan living room with an open fire, adjoining fully equipped kitchen, and a large west-facing terrace and garden. We have no immediate neighbours, the nearest house is around 150 metres down the hill. In the house, you will find fridge freezer, electric cooker, washing machine, long dining table for six, two sofas, loudspeakers (bring your own ipod, portable CD or computer) outside picnic table and benches, barbecue. and wi-fi internet.
You will find ample bedding and towels for your stay. Normally, the house is serviced and cleaned before and after arrival but a more frequent service can be requested if required and negotiated with the housekeeper, who lives nearby should anything crop up during your stay that needs attending to.
Milos has a spacious sun terrace from which to enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets you are ever likely to witness....and given that the Cyclades have almost uninterrupted sunshine from Easter to October...

About Peter Lawrence
I'm the conceptualist and firestarter of the new social network and community Campfire Convention, a concept that I has been working on for some years. Previous to that I founded The Big Chill festival and worked in the music and events industry for several decades.
Peter Lawrence purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Peter Lawrence chose South Aegean
I've been in love with Greece since my first visit to iOS and Paros in 1981. I loved Milos House as soon as I saw it and especially loved the view west across the water to Antiparos. The best vantage point!
What makes this Villa unique
Paros is great balance of traditional Greece with enough of a buzz to provide a range of things to do. It's not too expensive compared to the more touristy neighbours, Mykonos and Santorini.

FANTASTIC RENTAL ON PAROS, MILOS HOUSE
We are 6 women from South Africa that rented Milos House on Paros. Upon our arrival late at night we were surprised with a good bottle of wine and typical Greek delicacies, set out by the caretaker and supplied by the owner. This magnificent, well-maintained holiday home surpassed all our expectations. Spacious and tastefully furnished and with two bathrooms with baths, a luxury not easily found in Europe!. The house is situated high up on a hill, with beautiful views from the upstairs veranda over the sea and surrounding islands. All the information regarding restaurants, supermarkets and sightseeing was spot on. We fell in love with Milos House and will definitely return to this home from home and will recommend it to friends and family.
Paradise with Views....... Quality and Tranquility
High overlooking the little airport of Paros, we found our beautiful holiday home; and a home from home it was – just perfect in everyway. With views over many of the Cycladic islands our evenings were spent gazing from the vast first floor terrace at the changing scenes below us. Similarly the night sky gave us a wonderful vista of the stars.
The bedrooms are cooled by ceiling fans and the beds are to die for! Better than home… The vast kitchen diner has all you need and best of all, a music system that simply needs your ipod, tablet or similar ( no ipod dock though – take a charger)
Being high it can be windy, but that adds to the coolness of the house and it does have three terrace areas so somewhere is always out of the wind.
The village of Alyki is close and the food at Apoplous must be tried (Seafood plate for 2)… If in Piso Livadi try the salads at Soiree
This house was very clean, with masses of fluffy towels and bedding when you need to change it.
Dealing with Pete the owner could not be more simple - a real gentleman.
relaxing, private and peaceful
we had a great time at this charming private house, tucked away with great views over paraos and to anti paros, it is clean and comfortable, spacious and modern with all you need, a real home from home. many thanks for a great time, eddy and sarah
Many thanks for the review and I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay on Paros!
Paros island has a population of around 12, 000 and is easily traversed - around ten miles from north to south and similar from west to east. A coast road runs close to its perimeter and one can drive right around the island in two to three hours. Paros has exquisite sandy beaches in crystal waters, traditional villages with whitewashed cubic houses in narrow paved alleys contrasted with the many bougainvilleas, lovely chapels, an exciting nightlife, especially in Naousssa and Paroikia… Our website has personal recommendations for best places to eat, drink and swim. Sailing, fishing, diving, watersports are also popular. It is also a great base from which to explore other islands - Paros is the best connected island in the Cyclades and regular boats and excursions go to Antiparos, Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos and the small Cyclades, and the more remote islands such as Folegandros, Sifnos and Serifos can be easily reached.
