Amazing time upstate

  • 5 of 5

4th of July upstate was a dream at the house. We enjoyed coffee on the wraparound porch every morning and grilled in the back yard every night. The house is clean and large. They were attentive and easy to coordinate with even when we were delayed getting into town from the city. I would definitely stay there again.

Would highly recommend this property.

  • 5 of 5

There were 4 of us staying at this property and we were attending the HITS Horse Show. You will not find a better location and a nicer place to stay. Everything was very clean inside and well-maintained. There was no shortage of supplies. The owners had a service problem with the air conditioner and it was fixed immediately.

The location is not only perfect for the horse show, but for anything you are doing. We walked to dinner every night and there were ample restaurants to choose from. If you like to browse, there are plenty of stores within walking distance as well.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and 3 friends stayed at this house for a holiday weekend. We were pleased with how big and well kept the house was. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with mostly everything we needed to cook meals and the large dining room was lovely. The owners were great, too!

Comfortable and meticulously kept home

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful well maintained older home within walking distance to downtown, where we enjoyed shopping in the quaint stores and dining outdoors at Stella's, our favorite restaurant. We visited family over the Fourth of July. The house is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities of home. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the huge wrap around porch where we relaxed with our morning coffee while watching the people go by. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. We will definitely be back next year!

Homey, family getaway

  • 5 of 5

I spent 2 days here with my husband and other family members and we loved it ! The morning we were supposed to leave I found myself wishing we could stay another day.

We fell in love with the house the moment we walked in. There is so much space in the house compared to our small apartment. I loved how clean and surprisingly well kept everything looked. There is a beautiful old looking piano in the large living room. I also loved the fireplace but we never got to use it. There is a cute bathroom that looks like Harry Potter lives there under the stairs. The four bedrooms upstairs were beautifully decorated. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. Best of all, Joe, the owner was very responsive; we didn't have any problems but when we called him he was always there to answer my questions.

The town itself is a beautiful place and the people are very nice. The house is close to everything. It is half a block away from main st. We caught a movie at the movie theater 2 blocks from the house . We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here during the weekend of the NY Sheep and Wool Festival (in Rhinebeck). The house is lovely with lots of character and very comfortable. Within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. For "fiber fanatics," there is an adorable yarn and tea shop directly across the street. We especially loved Miss Lucy's for dinner but you'll need a reservation. We didn't have one but were able to eat at the bar...because we got lucky! PS...the owners are very easy to communicate with as well.
