About Joe & Stephanie DeLisle
We began traveling as a family to Southwest Florida back in 2000. We enjoyed it so much that we started considering the option to move full-time. After research we found all the benefits of the city of Cape Coral, Florida to raise a family while enjoying Boating & Gulf of Mexico lifestyle. We moved to SouthWest Cape Coral, Florida from Minnesota. We have grown to love our neighborhood and what it had to offer. It is close to the local Marinas and there is many choices for popular restaurants in the area. It is a perfect location for families traveling to enjoy Florida Sunshine.

Can’t wait to come back!!!
The house was just beautiful and so clean!
They provide beach towels, beach toys, chairs an umbrella, and fishing poles. There’s plenty to do at the house, if you don’t go out.
Joe and Stephanie were very attentive and always answered us for any questions we had. They made us feel comfortable to come to them!
I loved boating through the canal at sunset, it was so pretty with the palm trees. We weren’t able to kayak though because of all the jellyfish that were in the canal and we weren’t sure if it was the kind that stung.
At the end of the cul de sac are burrowing owls to gawk at, we got out of the car to get a good picture and it screamed at us. It was neat to see.
My daughter was happy to have the heated pool and hot tub on the nights we were back early enough for her to swim! She was able to experience everything she had been asking for like fishing and riding on a boat. She says to me “I miss that boat”
The boat was an awesome experience for all of us and seeing all the dolphins right there at us! I wish I could post my pictures! We wanted something different with this trip and we got it. We enjoyed boating to Sanibel and North Captiva. Fort Myers beach was just right down the road so we drove there for some beach time and restaurants
We have no complaints about our trip, only thing we can say that was unexpected was you do have tolls if you are driving to the different islands, and you have to pay for parking. Fort Myers all day is $15 by the shopping centers and Sanibel beach parking was $5 an hour, and you had to walk a good bit so you really got less than an hour. We know now just take the boat and dock or anchor.
It was very peaceful and relaxing and we can’t wait to go back! We will definitely try to stay here again and maybe a little longer next time!
Beautiful, well decorated and nicely appointed property.
Had a great stay there. It's so nice to be able to look out over the water and see the palm trees blowing in the wind. It was just my wife and I but the place is set up for a large family with plenty of room and activities to keep everyone occupied. The owners were available to field any questions and make sure you stay is worry free. Hope it's available the next time we head down south.
Exceeded our expectations!
This home and property are immaculate! Very clean, tastefully furnished and decorated with fun colors. Has a real "Florida" feel. The open floor plan, kitchen, dining & living spaces are perfect for entertaining and keeping a large family or group together yet having ample space to move freely.
The outside dining and grill area was used frequently, a real treat coming from snow to be able to dine outside.
The fully stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze. Plenty of dishes and flatware to serve a large family as well as serving bowls, platters and small appliances. The large master suite is amazing, Spacious and comfortable with private door to the pool and spa was perfect for having morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the canal. The garage is transformed into a fun zone! Pool table, darts, bikes, kayaks and pool inflatables as well as beach chairs and fishing equipment. Laundry area was well equipped as was the linen cabinet full of bath and beach towels.
We rented their boat as well, very spacious for the 6 of us. Wonderful memories were made exploring Sanibel and Cayo Costa islands, shelling, snorkeling, watching dolphins and seeing a turtle. The boat had some mechanical problems so we were only able to use it 2 days. Joe was wonderful and quick to attend to calling his mechanic. Unable to repair quickly we made the best of it, besides we were in a sunny paradise and so much to do and see. :) Joe and Stephanie were the utmost of kind and gracious hosts, even offering to credit the unused days on the boat rental for our next trip. It was a perfect week and will definitely be returning.
Great home with amenities
Lots of room, great kitchen for cooking and a large table to sit down. A beautiful canal connecting to the river with kayaks to tour around. The pool table was a plus especially for the young teens. Very clean. Close to the Yacht Club. Loved this property.
Great property owned and operated by great people!
This home accommodated our group comfortably and has everything we could have needed. This is the third straight year my group stayed in this home and , to say the least, we would not keep returning if everything wasn't outstanding. The owners, Joe and Stephanie, are great people and always make sure the stay is perfect. I would recommend this property to families large and small. You will love this house!!
We were 10 people (6 adults and 4 kids), and the house had plenty of space. The pool is fantastic and the view over the Canal is great. Joe and Stephanie are really nice hosts. We rented the boat as well, which I can definitely recommend doing. Joe gave us a very good introduction to the house, boat and the area around. The canals are not easy around Cape Coral, so make sure to pay attention to Joes instructions :o) The house is really clean and well equipped from kitchen to the toys in the garage. Everybody had plenty of fun .
