Downtown Boca Grande is old world Florida at its finest. No street lights...no fast food..just charming shops and eating establishments lining the uncrowded streets. You'll see more golf carts driving around Boca Grande than you will cars on most days...rent one to see and enjoy the entire island.
Once you arrive in Boca Grande, you may never want to leave.
While we live in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin, we love our vacation home in Boca Grande
We've vacationed in Boca Grande for about 15 years. It's peaceful and relaxing.
This is not your typical Florida vacation. There are no high rise hotels or apartment buildings in Boca Grande or Gasparilla Island. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with no crowds, this is the place.
My sister and our husbands recently stayed at this condo. The listing description and photos accurately decribed this condo. In fact, it was even nicer than the photos. The condo and grounds were very clean and well maintained. The location, which is only a few minutes from town by car, was perfect for relaxation. We spent the time watching the dolphins and sea birds and searching for shells and every evening we would watch the glorious sunsets from the porch. We went to Miller's Dockside, South Beach Bar & Grille, and PJ's Seagrill. All of the food was great, although we found Miller's Dockside's menu a little limited. A $6 toll is required when getting on the island, but we only left two times to go to the Publix. We would certainly recommend this condo and area to others.
A beachcombers dream. White sand beaches with plenty of shells to collect. Old world charm in downtown Boca Grande with no street lights and no fast food, but lots of shops and places to eat.
