A well maintained property with a welcoming atmosphere. The location is very convenient to Burlington as well as outdoor recreation opportunities. We spent the evenings with family by the fire. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.
Our little family had a great time staying at the creamery. The property is absolutely stunning, as well as clean, quiet and comfortable. It's a short drive to Burlington, and even shorter distance to beautiful Lake Champlain. The host was so kind, and provided much appreciated recommendations for restaurants and activities. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and fresh country air, while also being close to amenities.
A gem in the country, with easy access to the "city"
What a stunning property (with great, gracious hosts) in the "banana belt" of Vermont! My wife and I ventured up for some time in the country with our little man (8-month-old) and pup and it was just what we needed. Charlotte sits in what has to be the ideal location for any trip to Vermont - Lake Champlain and those views to the west; green mountains and hiking to the east; the "city" (by Vermont standards :-)) of Burlington to the north; and charm and berry-picking and small quintessential Vermont towns (e.g. Vergennes, Middlebury, etc.) within easy driving distance to the south. The property is aesthetically spot-on and equipped with all you'll need for a trip to the country - great open kitchen and grand, open space on the main floor and a 2nd floor with loft-style accommodations. So, don't expect a lot of doors, just great, open space. We so loved our stay here and look forward to coming back!
A beautiful Large and Restored Barn in a Tranquil Setting
We were very pleased to arrive at this renovated barn and find - to our surprise - that it was even more spacious than the pictures online had suggested. Well equipped and very convenient for us. We had a family wedding in nearby Shelburne, and a great farm stand nearby (Philo Ridge Farm) for fresh veggies, eggs, and more!
Also nicely private, with the owner in her home right next door if we needed her, but very much on our own...
Lovely home! Will be back
Lovely spacious renovated barn in beautiful Vermont.
The barn was a perfect spot for exploring Northern Vermont. We loved the kitchen, historic feel, and massive fireplace. Our sweet dog Rosie was welcomed and we wished our kids could have been with us too! Plenty of space for a family and a great place to enjoy and explore the surrounding area. Could have stayed another week! Marie is also a wonderful and gracious host.
The house is located in a lush valley know as the Banana Belt of Vermont near some of the most scenic views of Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. In addition to some of the best cycling route in Vermont, they are Orchards, breweries and wineries within minutes drive. A perfect place for embarking on all the best that Vermont has to offer including beach fun, fall foliage and amazing restaurants. A short walk to West Charlotte village which has two country stores and deli. All this, 20 minutes from Burlington and Burlington airport.
