Brilliant location, lovely home away from home.
We loved our stay in the Mews. It’s a well appointed home and very safe and secure. Ideally located to public transport, the High Street shops, and most importantly several friendly local pubs. Highly recommend.
Lovely, clean and modern property with everything we needed for a fantastic stay
Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. The owner is lovely, very welcoming and we had a great stay. The property is a great base for visiting the city as a family and would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.
Our holiday in Putney
My wife, my daughter, my two grandchildren, and myself have just spent a month staying at the lovely, secure, quiet, and ideally located cottage. Our hosts were helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The cottage is a very short walk to the main shopping area, numerous restaurants, and pubs. The Thames itself is only a 5 minute walk and the tube is only a couple more minutes walk. Central London is about 15 minutes on the tube and about 30 minutes on the bus. There are many other attractions that are also very accessible and we easily filled our month with a variety of activities. We would love the opportunity to stay here again and we happily recommend it.
Just as expected
Great hosts who took care of any issues, had great suggestions and were a joy to chat with. House was as photos show - nice, comfotable and provisioned for your first day or so. Putney is a great location - shopping, restaurants, tranit (Undergraound, Rail, Bus or Boat), but it does take about 40 minutes to get to the main sights in London.
I recommend this place and would rent again.
Lovely little niche away from the hustle and bustle of the city
Overall, it was wonderful. Very comfortable, modern and inviting. The only 2 questions were, the planes from Heathrow flying overhead so early and for so long kept us awake or awakened us at very very early hours. Also, would be nice to have a place with a bathroom downstairs and upstairs but other than that, it was wonderful and Barbara and Tom were great hosts...thank you so much.
Awesome time in East Putney and London.
The place was lovely and close to the town and trains. We will come again..
