My wife and I, along with another married couple stayed at the Ivy house during the last week of June/first week of July. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the house. It was clean, well prepared, in a great location, and we were very comfortable while staying there. A couple tube stations 10 minute walk away, and we were one stop away from Wimbledon which was also extremely convenient.
Overall I would recommend staying here. It was gated and safe, and Barbara was very nice and helpful.
We love this place. Our third visit. Has everything you need and is an oasis away from the pace of London. A real home away from home. Highly recommend
The unit had excellent accommodation, was very well maintained and clean, and is ideally located only 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Putney High Street and from public transport. Owners were very helpful.
Excellent "home base" from which to explore London. Barbara met us to get us checked in and settled - even though our flight arrived late at night. She made sure we had the basics for the first morning's breakfast.
The house was clean and bright with nice touches like a skylight on the top floor. Nice, fully equipped kitchen - the washing machine was a great addition for mid-stay laundry. We really liked the location as well. Putney Bridge underground station was a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride away, the train station was even closer. 3-4 grocery stores within minutes, and plenty of restaurants. Nice running trail along the Thames as well - past rowing crews putting racing shells in the water for their morning workouts.
Definitely a place we'd come back to, and recommend to our friends!
We stayed for 5 nights in London at Coutyard House and it was marvelous.
The house is fully renewed internally and equipped with all things a family needs. Microwave, Dishwashing machine, fridge, extra big shower, everything is in a very new and good shape and well maintained. The complete area is very quiet and you will not hear any noise being inside the house.
We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was very polite and helpful.
To central London, it is approx. 20 minutes by tube or 40min. by bus.
But you can find restaurants, shopping mall, shops all nearby at Putney High Street.
If we will come the next time to London, for sure we will check out this place for availability at first choice.
From our point of view a five star worth property, which we can warmly recommand.
