Independent house in first floor from villa to 250 metres of Regla Beach, in very calm zone, with ample terrace provided with awning and garden furniture. It has television set, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, microwaves, hair dryer, conditioned air, heating, satellite-TV, internet connection, and GARAGE. Totally it is equipped. With capacity for 4 people or 6 if the sofa-bed of the hall is used.

The house, semi-detached house, is located within the urban area in a very calm zone of low constructions. To the Regla Beach, to about 250 either 300 metres, it is walked in 3 or 4 minutes; and to the population centre, in about 15 minutes, also walking. In a radius of 100 metres of the house there is supermarket, stores and restaurants.-

Chipiona: Locality located in La Costa de la Luz (The Coast of the Light), Northwest coast of the province of Cadiz, to few kilometres of the Guadalquivir River. It has 18.000 inhabitants who live in 33 Km2. It has about 12 Km. of fine and blond sandy beaches. Every year, the beaches of Regla and Cruz del Mar, are awarded with Blue Flag of the Clean Seas of Europe.

Directions: Chipiona it is located to 54 km. Of Cadiz, the capital of the province. From her, it is acceded to Chipiona by the A-4 (Madrid-Cadiz), until El Puerto de Santa Maria and we will take the A-491 there that will take to Chipiona.

If we come from the north, from Sevilla (to 105 we will take the AP-4 until Jerez de la Frontera and the A-480. Also we can leave the AP-4 in kilometer 44, in the population of Las Cabezas de San Juan and to continue until Chipiona by the A-471 and later the A-480.

Hola, mi nombre es Antonio y estoy casado con Mari. Actualmente estoy jubilado, pero durante toda mi vida laboral he trabajado en un banco. He estado destinado en numerosas sucursales en distintos lugares, pero ahora tengo fijada mi residencia en Chipiona.

Chipiona es un pueblo muy tranquilo de la costa gaditana, tiene 18.000 habitantes, pero que en los meses de verano puede multiplicar por diez su población ya que es uno de los principales destinos turísticos de la Costa de la Luz. Tiene 3.000 horas de sol al año, los inviernos son cortos y templados y los veranos, aunque calurosos, lo son mucho menos que en el interior de Andalucía. Cuenta con unas magníficas playas de arena dorada y fina, galardonadas con la Bandera Azul de los Mares Limpios de Europa y con estupendos paseos marítimos, donde podemos pasear, tomar el sol o disfrutar de la brisa del mar.

Yo espero, que como a mí, les guste Chipiona, disfruten de sus vacaciones, y quieran volver a repetir.

The quiet town of Chipiona, is located northwest of the coast of Cadiz, on the Costa de La Luz, just 52 km. Cadiz, the capital of the province is the oldest city in the West (3,000 years).

The origins of Chipiona goes back to Roman times. The most emblematic monument in Chipiona perhaps its lighthouse, which dates from 1867 and is built at Punta del Perro, in the same place where Quinto Servilio Cepión, the tower was built in 140 BC.

We can also see the Shrine of Nuestra Señora de Regla, with its Moorish cloister of the XV century and the image of the Virgin (XII or XIII century). The Parish of Nuestra Señora de La O (XVI century), the Castle was probably built on another of Arab origin around the year 1295 and the Fisheries Corrales (believed to be Roman).

From Chipiona, you can visit the wineries, the School of Equestrian and the Racing Circuit (in Jerez), the horse racing on the beach (in Sanlúcar de Barrameda), or to the Route of the White Towns in the Sierra de Cadiz, north of the province. The route enters the Grazalema Natural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve, a must for those who enjoy active tourism and rural tourism.

And not far away, across the river, another natural park, the Doñana Natural Park.

Since Chipiona we can make excursions to Cadiz (52 km), to Seville (105 km), to Jerez de la Frontera (27 Km), to Ronda (150 km), to Malaga (260 km), to Gibraltar (145 km) toTarifa, the Windy City (150 km), to Portugal, Vila Real de Santo Antonio (250 Km), and even to Morocco. To go to Morocco, we will do by road to Algeciras (130 km), then board the ferry to Ceuta (1 hour of trip, 6 crossings daily) or to Tangier (1 hour trip, 40 trips per week). You can ship the car at the Ferry.

In the area of Chipiona you can see and practice a lot of activities, but especially we can enjoy its 12 Km. of magnificent beaches of fine golden sandy, some of them, awarded with the Blue Flag of the Clean Seas of Europe.

un poco decepcionados

la casa esta muy bien pero es la primera vez que tenemos que pagar para tener la calefacción. Se echa también de menos calefacción en el cuarto de baño.

Owner's Response: Agradecemos al Sr. José N. su estancia, su valoración y su comentario que hace de nuestro alquiler, y lamentamos que haya quedado decepcionado, pero quiero hacerle la aclaración de que el cobrar por la calefacción no es por el afán recaudatorio, sino para que el inquilino haga un uso responsable de la energía. Como el Sr. José N. sabe, en el apartamento hay instalados tres aparatos de calefacción, uno en el salón y otro más en cada dormitorio, con un consumo de unos 800 w/hora cada uno de ellos; por tanto, creo que el precio de 1 Euro por cada 4 horas de uso no es un coste excesivo; con este importe apenas se paga la electricidad que consumen. Como ya he referido anteriormente, esto es para que se haga un uso responsable de la electricidad, para que cuando no se utilice, se salga de casa, o no sea necesario su uso, se apague. Al apagar la calefacción, el saldo restante no consumido se conserva y se puede utilizar en otra ocasión, por lo que el inquilino no tiene perdida alguna de dinero. También conviene saber que el turista normalmente está casi todo el día por la calle, por lo que el tiempo que tiene que utilizar la calefacción en casa es realmente muy poco. Para terminar, solo indicar que el Sr. José N. no debió ver bien mi anuncio antes de contratar, pues en la descripción del mismo viene especificado el tipo de calefacción que tiene la casa y su precio. Igualmente dice que su uso es opcional; es decir, que puede utilizarla o no, según le convenga. En relación al comentario del cuarto de baño, quiero decir que tiene razón, ya que vendría muy bien una calefacción también en esta dependencia, pero el mismo fabricante de los aparatos desaconseja, expresamente, la instalación de los mismos en los cuartos de baño.

Perfekt

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Vorallem eine grosszügige sonnige Terrasse, die wir täglich für das Frühstück nutzten. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, leider sind unsere Spanischkenntnisse zu bescheiden um uns noch besser unterhalten zu können. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt, man fühlt sich gleich wohl und heimisch. Chipiona ist ein sehr sympathischer Ort ohne Bettenburgen, aber mit einer tollen Strandpromenade an einem fantastischen Strand. Auch das Ortszentrum mit seiner Fußgängerzone und den Bars und Bodegas ist sehr angenehm. Außerhalb gibt es noch weitere lange Strände, wobei uns Tres Piedras mit dem empfehlenswerten Chiringuito Prospin am besten gefallen hat. Nicht versäumen sollte man einen Ausflug nach Sanlucar de Barrameda an der Mündung des Guadalquivir mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Tapasbars und Fischrestaurants. Insgesamt ein grandioser Urlaub an der Costa de la Luz, vielen,vielen Dank an Antonio und Mari mit Familie, wir hoffen wiederkommen zu können!
