About Richard or Leslie Bell
Rick and Leslie grew up at the foot of the Adirondack Mountains in the Mohawk Valley. When our children were young we camped at about every state campground in the Adirondacks. Acquiring a love for the Adirondacks that would resurface many years later and lead us to purchase Twin Pines Cabin. This was just a seasonal cabin when we purchased it, however within a few short months spending more and more time there realized it was time to convert it to a year round residence. Realizing it was time to sell our main residence in the valley and make the permanent move north we did so. Recently the chance to purchase another residence two houses away arose. Now we want to extend the opportunity for others to enjoy the lake front cabin with the majestic views and tranquility that we have enjoyed for the last 3 years.
Richard or Leslie Bell purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Richard or Leslie Bell chose Wells
This is as close as you can get to being on the lake without being in it. Great views, very modern camp, kayaks, bikes, close to great skiing in the winter and right on the main snowmobile trail. It's a piece of heaven that everyone should have a chance to enjoy

Comfy winter getaway
Our stay at the Twin Pines Cabin over President’s weekend was great. Rick and Leslie were wonderful hosts who were there to help us back our snowmobile trailer in when we arrived! As a snowmobiler as well, Rick gave us great tips on where to ride, and even stopped by the house with a trail report before we ventured out! The house is very comfy and cozy and well appointed. And great water pressure! Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to return!
Chris and Carrie Lawler
Chris and Carrie, we enjoyed having you as guests. I just wish for you sake it hadn’t warmed up so much but it sounds like you had a great time anyhow. We strive to provide second to none accommodations for our guests and hopefully provide you with a unique vacation experience. I felt bad that you couldn’t ride right from the cabin as we usually do, but sometimes weather can mess things up. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to return and stay with us again, summer or winter. Once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts for staying at Twin Pines Cabin, thanks again, Rick and Leslie Bell
Lovely, warm, welcoming home. Such a peaceful place!!
We truly enjoyed our stay at twin pines. The kids loved the kayaks, we may have to get some now. The lake is so peaceful, we kept thinking it was going to get busy especially during the weekend but it never did. Rick and Leslie were so hospitable, we even had the opportunity to go out on their boat and explore the whole lake which was such a treat. If we’re planning on vacationing in that area again we will definitely be staying at Twin Pines.
Relaxing, loved the water pressure in the shower, loved the beds,I loved the warm colored..cozy furniture ..and all the little extras the hosts did for us!
Great stay - Exceeded expectations!
The accommodations were perfect! Rick and Leslie were very hospitable, and there was so much to do! (Kayaking, Biking, Fishing, Hiking, Fire pit, you name it - all we needed was more time... wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll be back!) Twin Pines exceeded our expectations!
Great place very close to skiing, snow tubing, and hiking. Rick and Leslie were great and even lent us snowshoes for our hike. Highly recommend.

Very clean and immaculate cabin
The cabin as well as the owners were great! Upon pulling into the driveway we were met by the owners whom showed us the cabin and all the aspects and use of it. The cabin was very clean and very spacious for a two bedroom cabin. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a weekend get away or want to enjoy upstate NY. I will absolute return.
