Mountain Hideaway provides luxury and convenience for your Blue Ridge Experience.
This spacious cabin has been refurbished from top to bottom with fine appointments, including: Pottery barn bedding, 500+ thread count sheets, fine leather couches and chairs, upstairs master bath with cork floor, tile shower, and separate jetted tub, new appliances etc.
Brand new furnishings and easy access to downtown and all the nature activities the Blue Ridge area has to offer. Bring your Boat, Kayak or Mountain Bike or just kick back for some R and R.
This gorgeous cabin is in a private setting, but very easy to get to with paved roads and close to highway 5/515. We are literally 1.4 miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge and the property sits on a private 1.5 acre wooded lot.
Mountain Hideaway is an over 1600 sq. ft, quality built cabin - not one of those tiny, roughed in cabins with worn out furnishings and appliances.
This cabin is perfect for families or just a getaway with a loved one or friends. All TV's are equipped with Direct TV (including ESPN channels).
The upstairs master has two brand new queen log pillowtop beds and a 32' flatscreen TV with built in DVD player. There is a loft with a brand new full size futon for extra sleeping. The downstairs bedroom has a brand new king log pillowtop bed with a TV and also has a full bath. There is a 40"' HD flatscreen TV in the Living room.
The cabin has a level lot and two driveways, so there is plenty of parking for your Boat or RV. If you are a mountain biker, contact us to get the lowdown on the best trails in the area.
Adjacent to the screened in porch is a brand new hot tub and grill.
Did I mention free WIFI and Netflix on the living room TV? Oh, and there are horseshoe pits and a fire pit in the side yard for you to enjoy.
The reviews speak for themselves! We strive to make the reservation process easy and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. We welcome you to our Mountain Cabin!
Chris and I live in Roswell, Georgia with our two Kids: ages 4 and 9.
Maggie Domby purchased this cabin in 2012
We love the mountain sports and got tired of lugging all of our camping and mountain biking gear up. We've had a dream of owning a cabin in the blue ridge area and we finally acted on it.
We have rented many properties over the years and we've taken the best of each and incorporated into this cabin. We understand that amenities are important, so we've gone the extra mile to ensure you'll have everything you need.
"We loved the cabin and thank you for making our honeymoon lovely, cozy, relaxing and very special! Happy New Year!"
Had a girls weekend with my mother and sisters in blue ridge. The cabin had plenty of room for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space too. We cooked and grilled several meals and enjoyed the fall weather by sitting on the screened porch and lounging in the hot tub at night. Very close to town and shopping. We will gladly stay here again in the future!
Great cabin, really close to town but hidden just enough.
My sisters and I take an annual trip in the fall each year and this was my year to plan. I was so fortunate to find this lovely cabin, which turned out to be absolutely perfect for the 4 of us. The owner was wonderful to work with before, during and after our visit. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and my sisters kept telling me how "perfect" it was...including how close we were to the town of Blue Ridge. I am so happy with our visit and hope to stay here again. I highly recommend this lovely place!!
This cabin was excellent, very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge (less then 5 minutes). The property was as described. There were only two of us, but it can handle the 7 people that the owner allows up to easily! The cabin was clean and inviting. The owner provided excellent customer service before our arrival which made it where we had no issues during our stay. We will recommend this cabin to others and we will be coming back as well!
We enjoyed the scenic train ride, which was an hour ride to McCaysville, Ga then we were there for 2 hours and then the hour ride back. The train ride was very relaxing and enjoyable! We also enjoyed a couples massage at Serenity in the Mountains, which was very nice! We enjoyed eating at Joe's BBQ, where Joe was a very good and attentive host and the food was great! The Blue Ridge Brewery also had good food and a fun atmosphere. The Mercier Orchard was a nice place to visit and purchase some ciders and fruit.
My husband and I rented this cabin for our anniversary and loved it. The cabin was well equipped and we especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch to take in the morning views.
What a nice cabin!
We rented this cabin for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. Although we were gone most of the time, the quality of the cabin is outstanding and welcoming to our needs. It was ultra clean and beautifully decorated. The owners are wonderful to work with and very quick to reply to emails. At night, we sat out on the screened-in porch (large) and listened to the crickets. The hot tub was also in tip-top shape and was a nice welcomed extra after a long day out in the area. There is also a nice fenced in area with a fire pit and horseshoe pegs. The cabin is only about 3 miles from Blue Ridge but very private ... we never heard any noise while there other than the crickets. The driveway is large enough for several vehicles also. A plus for us was a king size bed downstairs. The upstairs has 2 queen beds and the bedroom is large with a very nice bathroom. My husband and I each had our own bathroom which made getting ready in the morning so much quicker. On our trip we went to Helen and Dahlonega and visited the shops in downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay. If you are looking for a great breakfast I would recommend the Cornerstone Cafe on Main Street in Ellijay. The food was delicious with huge homemade biscuits and gravy and the extra thick bacon, homemade grits. The food came out so fast and all of the staff were super friendly. It has quite a unique atmostphere which was nice. There is an antique store attached and we enjoyed visiting there. All in all, I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for quality both in the cabin and in the people who own it. Thanks Maggie and Chris.
