Location, location, location!!
This private fenced in single family home on Boca Grande has an in ground pool and is steps from the beach, 2 lighted tennis courts, town and a ball field. The home is adjacent to a nature preserve and has 3 bedrooms, 3 full newly renovated bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with eat in dining, office with daybed, living room, screened lanai, laundry room and family room with large flat screen TV. The entire home has been repainted and completely renovated inside. The pool has been completely resurfaced with new tile and a Pebbletec finish. We have recently added a new outdoor ping pong table.
The nicest part about your visit to our home on Boca Grande is that you simply come as you are. Towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, tennis rackets all make your packing worry-free!
We have 6 children and live in New England year round. We were looking to buy a winter getaway in Florida for years, but could never find the right place for our large family. When we visited Boca Grande we knew immediately that we had found the perfect retreat!
Christie Domoracki purchased this house in 2009
Our family purchased this home because it could easily accommodate our large family. We love that it has an in ground pool and is walking distance from the town and steps from the beach, 2 tennis courts and a ball field.
The home is private and comfortable. It is nice to sit in the lanai after a day on the beach sipping a glass of wine or margarita. If tennis is your game, 2 lighted tennis courts are at the end of our street and after your match you can jump in the pool or walk to the beach to cool off.
We have rented this lovely home for one week for the past two summers and highly recommend staying here. Great location just outside of "town, a short walk to the beach, and tennis courts at the end of the street. Beautiful - yet comfortable - furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, great pool, deck and screened porch. The owners were very accommodating and responded quickly with answers to questions about the house. We will definitely be back!
Where do I start? First of all, we booked this property directly through the owner, Gary, and never received any acknowledgement they received the check or the contract. When we arrived several months later, the pool was green, grill didn't work properly, one of the garage doors was broken, and the back staircase was steep and dangerous (likely noncompliant with the building code). The pool company came to check the pool and it was essentially unusable for several days into our stay. Pool guy asked us, the renters who were on vacation, to fill up the pool with water daily because the pool had a leak. When we arrived, we discovered TOENAIL CLIPPING in what should have been a clean master bed, and the floors and grout were filthy. We had to wear shoes inside the house, otherwise our feet were black. The house is way too expensive for what it's worth, looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. I'd recommend this house only if you are desperate for a place to stay in Boca Grande and everything else is booked. Cheers!
My husband and I first rented this home in 2014 and loved it so much we rented again this summer for our anniversary/vacation trip! We love everything about this beautiful home!! From the minute we first walked in the front door we felt the rest of the world slip away. It's elegant but cozy and relaxed at the same time. An extra special touch is the beautiful artwork created by the owners! We love mornings on the porch over breakfast and coffee, the short walk to the beach and the proximity to "town" for shopping and meals out. Afternoons are spent by the pool which we have to drag ourselves away from! We're both avid cooks (hubby is a chef) and found that the kitchen is well-appointed and stocked. The only thing we don't like is when we have to pack up and leave. We'll definitely be making our reservation for next year soon!!
Our family of 5 stayed here last month and absolutely loved this house. It was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very spacious. We loved sitting on the lanai in the morning with our coffee, or late in the evenings with a cocktail. The pool in the backyard was a big plus, and a nice alternative to the beach, which was just a short walk up the street. We also took advantage of the tennis courts right next door. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well- stocked. The house has a light and airy feel and couldn't have been more perfect. Great location too, being a few blocks from town. We miss being there already!
My husband, 4 children and I stayed at this wonderful house. It was beautiful, spacious, private and impeccably clean. The beach at the end of the short road and pool in the back yard made it fun for all day AND night. The town has great shops and restaurants. We loved it so much we booked another week for next year. Can't wait to go back.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful home over Spring Break and could not have been any happier. We have visited Boca Grande for years and always stayed in condos and town homes directly on the beach. We could not have been any happier with our choice. The house is beautifully decorated...almost straight out of Southern or Coastal Living magainze. It is complete with all of the necessities (and then some) and very comfortable for all ages. The location is ideal for those loving the beach but also close enough to downtown Boca Grande and is a short walk or shorter golf cart ride from everything. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach so the kids and I went back and forth with ease and loved our time at sunset. Being off the beach a few houses did not bother us one bit and the kids didn't mind at all. We loved having space and not being right next door to other people as many of the condos are very close together. Besides being stylishly decorated with beautiful furnishings and artwork, the sofas and beds were all very comfortable; the kitchen well stocked; clean, modern, spacious bathrooms; a large dining area with a great farm style table that easily seats 8, 2 living room areas: and the backyard pool area and screened in lanai were perfect for both kids and adults. The only negative was that we wished we could stay another week. The homeowners were a pleasure to work with and attentive from the moment I contacted them. I can't say enough about this great house and our stay. I would highly recommend! Thanks for making our spring break that much more special.
Boca Grande is renowned for its beautiful shelling beaches, tarpon fishing and serene atmosphere. There are no high rises and most residents and visitors travel by bike or on golf carts. There are fabulous restaurants, quaint shops, golf and tennis all within walking distance.
