If you need help with groceries/errands we may be able to assist with that as well (contact us for further info) We want to make your stay great and if our local knowledge can be of use we are glad to share it.
John Knoblock and Liz Haigh purchased this Condo in 2012
Why John Knoblock and Liz Haigh chose Solitude
We bought this condo so that we can enjoy Solitude in the summer and fall primarily. (Okay, we love powder snow too.) We purchased this unit because it has a larger floor-plan than the other 1 BR w/ den condos, and has views of the village and mountains. And, when its not rented in the winter, we can get up the canyon to ski some un-tracked Solitude powder and do some nordic ski skating! We are really enjoying the ski in/ski out dynamic too (when the condo isn't rented) - rolling out of bed late and still getting first tracks!! Even though we only live 25 minutes away being able to spend more time in our beloved, beautiful Wasatch has made us happier! We are so grateful to have this condo- every time we go up to Solitude we are renewed.

Comfortable and close to everything.
Cozy and warm condo. Very thoughtful owners who had the place stocked. Great time.
Our family had the best time! This condo was awesome! Very well stocked. It literally had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to return next year!
Superior hgh quality stay
This condo is outstanding in every way. the host/landlords are the most generous and thoughtful of any we have ever had - and we have had many. Not only is the condo comfortable, beds great, view lovely, fabulous location, immaculately clean, but the hosts stock the condo with everything one could possibly need and then some. The final touch was the vase of flowers and two bottles of wine they left for us! I wish there were ten stars to give this property and the owners.
I can't say enough about our stay at this condo. Our flight from the east coast was cancelled and John and Liz did not hesitate to let us move our dates. The even offered to let us stay another night! Everything was so comfortable and clean. We had 4 great days of skiing during the day and enjoyed the games, pool and hot tub in the evening. If there were more stars to give I would!!!
Great condo at Solitude
This is perfect family ski lodging. The owners care about making the visitors happy and it shows. Little touches that make you feel like your staying in a friends place.
We love the size and feel of Solitude! We love Brighton as well, which is just a couple miles up the road. Stock up on food on your way in from SLC, but if you forget something, this is the most well stocked condo we've ever stayed in. ALL of the basics, and then some! Coffee, sugar, spices creamer, pasta, sauce, chocolate, wine, cheese, crackers, cereal, oatmeal....ziplocks, soaps, shampoo, etc etc etc.. What else do you need!!?
Great pots and pans and utensils. This unit is much larger than most 1 bedrooms, as the "den" slept all three of our kids with a twin over full bunk bed. Family room area was so perfect for whole family to snuggle under warm blankets and watch the Olympics (and snow fall outside the big picture window) after a full day of skiing and snowboarding.
Owners also left great instructions on how to use everything. All in all, we loved it and hope to come back!!
enjoyed the condo which was well stocked with things you hate to pack like paper towels, coffee, etc. Great location, close to slopes and with underground car park.Comfortable bed and living areas
Enjoy 500 inches of The Greatest Snow on Earth here at Solitude Ski Resort, without the crowds of other ski areas. At Solitude there's More Powder Per Person, as well as groomed slopes for all ability levels.
