About George or Cathy

We are 4th generation Montanans. We have 3 children and 1 grandchild who also love being on the river and in the mountains. We are fisherman, hunters, hikers, boaters, skiers, gardeners and anything else outdoors.

George or Cathy purchased this lodge in 2012

Why George or Cathy chose Montana

We have, for a long time, wanted to get 'back to the mountains' and saw this as an opportunity for our families, and yours, to enjoy the beauty of the Mighty Mo and the mountains and the wildlife.

What makes this lodge unique

Quiet neighborhood. Easy access off the Interstate. Approximately 10 miles to the north to the town of Cascade and approximately 9 miles south to the town of Craig.

A Fantastic Place to Stay right in the heart of the river.

  • 5 of 5

Myself and a group of friends have been doing a couple of major fishing trips every year around the state for the last decade. We are all from Montana and feel there is no place like home for a great fishing trip on world class fly fishing water. We have stayed at many places and the Jumping Rainbow ranks right near the top and surely won't break your budget. If your rocking through the night listening to some classic vinyl or relaxing and watching the plethora of movies it is a perfect place to spend time when not fishing. George and Cathy are great and the place has more than anyone could ask for as far as supplies and kitchen fare go. We will be back. An A++ establishment. Thank you.

Great place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of room, and the location is great with a beautiful view of the Mighty Mo.

Only recommendation is to have satellite/cable.
