Your Pacific Northwest Beach house getaway features white water views from the master bedroom, deck, also from the kitchen and living room. Walk right out to the sandy beach and search for the priceless, elusive and popular glass ball floats, sea glass, seashells, build a sand castle or come fly your kites!
Later while enjoying dinner on the Oceanfront deck, be witness to spectacular sunsets, wildlife and magnificent waves of the Pacific Ocean. As the sun is setting build your bonfire and hold a marshmallow on a stick or cozy up to the living room or master bedroom fireplaces.
For awe-inspiring views of the Ocean and further relaxation, enjoy the hot tub near the the waters edge or Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Leave your window open and fall asleep to the sound of waves.
Welcome to your home at the beach where memories are made and Beach Dreams do come true!
Our family has enjoyed living on the beach for 26 years. Our children went to Ocean Shores Elementary and North Beach High school. The kids learned to drive, clam and even play golf on the beach
Michelle purchased this house in 2005
We have been building custom homes for others and many of the commercial buildings on this PNW coast, including our own home on this beach for many years. And wanted to share with others the dream of living/vacationing on the beach with a front row seat in this truely Ocean Front Home. You will not need to walk through a village or crowd staying here! This is a close as you can get to the Ocean on the PNW and you'll share this beach with very few people :)
Razor clamming,(when in season),Biking, kite flying, Bon-fires, Shelling, Kayaking, Museums, Antiquing,
Also Fishing & Golf! A short drive to some of the best hiking trails in the Olympic Rain Forest or go for a scenic drive around Lake Quinault.
Bring your binoculars to search across the horizon for ships and the Japanese glass balls that may float in :)
We have stayed up and down the coast and never been or felt this close to the waves!
Fantasic layout in the house, views, and amenites. We will be back soon!
We had such a great time at this house! A little misunderstanding at the beginning with emails (the owner wasn't getting ours for some reason), but Michelle was quick to explain and solve it. Beautiful views of the beach from the house. The house was very clean: clean floors, clean appliances, clean bedding, spreads, pillows (you can see it all when you strip the beds at the end of the trip), clean AND comfy furniture, extra blankets, pillows. The kitchen is very well equipt, we found everything we needed. Kids had a blast! They had their own room with a TV, were able to just run over to the beach and play. Beautiful sunsets from the master bedroom. I'm saving it in my favorites! It's priced well too. So glad I found this place and would love to return back at some point. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Had a blast at this house. Very accommodating with fully furnished kitchen. Wish we had longer than 2 nights to fully appreciate the surroundings.
Kids loved the beach. The parents loved the tranquility and the dogs loved the surf until they got wet. Good times for a weekend sad that it goes so fast.
We found this rental by chance and it's so much better then we expected. Celebrating my husbands surviving a quadruple bypass and our daughters high school graduation. We arrived June 19th Friday, the weather was beautiful. The house was so much better then the pictures. Clean, beautiful and so close to the beach. It has everything you could need in the kitchen. We were looking forward to rest, relaxation, and peace, and we received all three. The sunsets from the decks are amazing. Although your neighbors are close you still have your privacy and peace. We left Monday the 22nd. After a very beautiful weekend it was so sad to leave. Definitely will return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
We just returned from the most wonderful five day, four night family celebration at Moclips. We loved the house and the location of this property. Most of the seven of us have stayed at various beach houses on the Oregon and Washington coast and this was by far the closest to the beach and one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. We loved the beach access, only about 50 feet of beach grass, with great paths, and then this wonderful, long and quiet beach. This home has everything you need for a great vacation. I appreciated the layout of the house so much. The seven of us never felt cramped or crowded. There is a lot of space and plenty of room to do lots of different things at the same time. We enjoyed the pool table, the hot tub, the living room was terrific for playing games, and I loved being in the kitchen and still being a part of everything going on. The décor is very inviting and the home is warm and casual. The owners have gone the extra mile to furnish and equip this home with everything you need for a great vacation getaway. I can speak for my whole family and highly recommend this property for your next coastal vacation. Even our dog loved the warm water outside the house that was available to wash his paws after prancing on the beach.
Stayed here for 2 nights and it was fine. Great location right on the beach.
We chose the right place for my birthday weekend getaway. The house was amazing (well kept & clean) and the beach was beautiful. The home easily accommodated the 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. I was pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was (dishes, eating & cooking utensils, glasses/mugs) and the gas grill on the deck was ready to go for the sunset BBQ we had the first night. You will need bring some skewers for the bon fire on the beach s'mores. It's a short walk to the store for wood. And there are the so so many stars. You can actually trace the Milky Way's path across the sky. Stunning! Don't forget your binoculars to watch the birds and ships drift across the horizon.
We are already talking of a return trip but next time we want to bring our kids. One is 9, the other 7, and I know they'd have so much fun out there too.
I've only one improvement and that is a bigger hot tub. We could only get in 3 adults at a time and that was overlapping legs to fit.
Good times were had and good memories made.
On the Beach you can Stroll the 2 miles south while beach-combing and head down to the Surf House for a coffee, tea or ice cream! Enjoy a visit to the Moclips Museum, Quinault Rain Forest hiking , Moclips grocery for a burger or u- bake pizza, breakfast or bowling at the Pacific Beach Navy base or make reservations for dinning at the Ocean Crest! 100's of sand dollars are waiting for you!!
