Overview

Port Aransas House Rental Photos and Description

3 bedroom 2.5 bath with open kitchen, dining and living area

Tides' N is three bedroom two and a half bath with sleeping arrangements for ten on one king, one queen, four twin bunks and a sleeper sofa. Plus its open kitchen, dining and living areas provide for the perfect gathering place. And speaking of gathering places, how about that wonderful shaded deck across the entire length of the home?

Plus when you book with us, you'll get our exclusive locals only discount at these fine island businesses. Bron's Beach Carts, Island Queen Bay Fishing, Castaways Seafood and Grill, La Dolce Vita Nail Salon, Bilmore and Son Tackle, Mustang Dolphin Watch and Irie's Island Food - Just ask for your discount card at check-in.

Sure most places have a coffee maker, and maybe a toaster but do they also have a blender, can opener, shrimp deveiner and remote controls that actually work? And are they fully stocked with complete cookware, dinnerware, glassware and silverware along with complete bedding linens and towels for the number of guests the home accommodates, as well as brand name dish soap, Tide laundry detergent, body wash, Cascade dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, trashbags, paper towels and high quality toilet paper all purchased by moms that care, for moms that care? Tides' N has all this and more! So again, if you've stayed elsewhere, you know what I'm talking about. Give this Sand Point beach home a try to see how it works perfectly for your family too. We feel certain you'll be back again and again, and here's another great reason why.

The Sand Point neighborhood is in town at marker #9 on the beach next to Beach Lodge (NOT way out of town, so far down Hwy 361 you can't even get a pizza delivered). In fact you'll only be a mile from the downtown area. The neighborhood offers a relatively large private pool and hot tub area exclusive to Sand Point plus a VERY SHORT private boardwalk and path over the dunes so there's no hiking or driving necessary from a home you just thought was going to be close to the beach. If you've ever stayed elsewhere you know what I'm talking about, but even if you don't have first hand experience in what I'm saying, why chance it? Stay with us in Sand Point at Tides' N.

There's also a very popular restaurant in the neighborhood just steps from the home. The Beach Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting right on the beach. In fact its the only place in Port A to get a pot boil crab dinner and beer on the beach.

Additionally, we are THE PRIME LOCATION for SandFest which is an international sand sculpting competition held each year in April. It takes place right next to the Sand Point neighborhood's private boardwalk over the dunes. Where are you going to park? Shuttle? We don't need no stinkin' shuttle from across town. We're staying right next to SandFest at Tides' N in the Sand Point neighborhood with pool, hot tub and direct beach boardwalk access to fun!

Remember folks, Sand Point is arguably THE most desirable neighborhood in Port Aransas and Tides' N Beach Home is THE place to stay so email us for availability and then call Matthew with credit card in hand to lock in your dates before some other savvy family gets on the calendar ahead of you. We'd love to host your next trip to Port A!

Wonderful Home!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience staying at the Tides'N. My husband and I took our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren (3 & 4) to Port Aransas for vacation and I am so glad we booked our stay at this lovely home. It was exactly as the pictures appeared on the website so we did not have any disappointing surprises. Very spacious with beautiful décor. A fully equipped kitchen - plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and bakeware. It was VERY clean upon arrival as well. You could not ask for a better location - within walking distance to the beach and a beautiful community pool available for use as well. The property manager, Matthew, gave us a lot of useful information for excursions and local attractions which was very helpful as this was our first time to Port Aransas. Everyone had a great trip and I hope we will be able to make this an annual event for our group. If so, we will definitely come back to Tides' N. It had everything you needed - including an outdoor shower and endless water hoses outside the home to rinse off everything before entering the home. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a huge front deck - perfect for sipping your morning coffee or relaxing with your favorite beverage in the evening!!!

This is our 2nd annual family trip to Tides' N ---- and there will be many more to come.

This home is a home away from home. This is a very clean and entertainment friendly home. Loved having all of the amenities and necessities.

Great place for a family!

  • 4 of 5

This was a great place to stay for our beach vacation. We had 3 children and 4 adults, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen was large enough for cooking meals. Nice big porch on the front of the house. Plenty of towels and a washer/dryer to wash towels and clothes! We also got to bring our boxer, which was really nice! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time celebrating my daughter's 12 birthday with several of her friends. This rental couldn't be any easier. It was super clean with plenty of linens. Easy access to the beach and pool was great for these girls. The kitchen was supplied well with everything to cook for this group. The house had all we needed to keep everyone one comfortable. This is our second time to rent this house and we really enjoyed the houses new decor additions, it appeared that the owner loves their house too!

Port A Get Away

  • 4 of 5

Great house. Rented a lot of beach houses over the years and this was probably the cleanest and most well appointed one that I have ever rented. Great size rooms and master bath. Large porch, close to pool and not too far of a walk to the beach. Very happy that it was so close to town but not too close. Neighborhood was full of homeowners/renters but no one was loud or obnoxious which was so nice. My only negative and it's a personal preference was that the homes in the neighborhood are way too close together. We like to sit on the porch in the mornings/evenings but did not enjoy being so close that I could hear everyone's conversation next door and looking at the people sitting on their front porch across the street looking back at us. Other than that, everything else was great.
