This townhouse is in a great location for year-round activities in the Salt Lake area. Situated half way between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons at 'The Oaks at Wasatch', you can be at any one of four ski resorts within minutes (9-16 miles) of leaving the house. Venture a little further (27-33 miles) and you can ski Park City, The Canyons, and Deer Valley. Need equipment? Several ski rental stores are just a few blocks away.

Just minutes away there are a number of hiking and biking trails as well as several areas designated for rock-climbing and bouldering. The house is located adjacent to one of the best road-bike routes in the valley. There is a locally owned bike shop about a mile from the house (they rent bikes).

The Cottonwood Recreation Center is just over a mile away. With an Olympic sized ice rink open year round, indoor and outdoor pools, racquetball (and Walleyball) courts, as well as a cardio room and weight room, the whole family can enjoy themselves. The rec center offers several classes, from Spin, to Yoga and Zumba.

Bair Park (locally known as Firehouse Park) is just yards away, with a playground, pavilion, tennis courts, and a large grass area suitable for a football or soccer game. We provide balls for your use. Just across the street is a bus stop for skiers making it even easier to get to the resorts, and allows each person in your group to set their own ski schedule.

The freeway is a couple of miles away with easy access, making downtown Salt Lake City and Park City accessible within 20 to 30 minutes. Several people stay in this area during the Sundance Film Festival, Oktoberfest, conferences, various Sports tournaments as well other sporting events. With a grocery store just a few blocks away and several restaurants and pubs within a couple of miles, this townhouse makes for easy living - even for a short-term visitor. As with any city of 1 million, the Salt Lake Valley has a lot to offer year round: from concerts and theater to shopping and recreation.

About Breck

We both moved to Salt Lake in 1997 and met a few months later. Neither of us planned to stay more then a couple of years. Easy access to the mountains and year round enjoyment of the outdoors, however, has made this our home. Fifteen years later it is difficult to consider living in another city. We made our home 'between the canyons' so we could be close to the mountains. It is easy to pick the kids up from school and hit the slopes or go for a hike. The diversity of the state's environs from the hot deserts of Southern Utah to the alpine tundra in the high mountains makes for wonderful weekend excursions.

Why Breck chose Utah

Our Townhouse was completely remodeled in 2012 with new furniture throughout. The kitchen cabinets, appliances, and washer and dryer are all new as well. The 55 inch TV in the living room streams Netflix and HuluPlus movies, as do the TVs in two of the three bedrooms. Several other internet apps are also available on the TV, along with the regular Cable TV channels. Wireless internet makes it easy to use any computers or internet devices you may bring. There is an acoustic guitar in the living room for your enjoyment and if you are not musically inclined, A book exchange is maintained by and for all guests. An assortment of games appropriate for all ages will help fill in any downtime.

In addition to the three queen beds in the bedrooms, there are two sofa sleepers. The kitchen is fully stocked, including a coffee maker, waffle maker, wine cooler, and crock-pot among other amenities. We even include a couple of our favorite cookbooks for you to use during your stay. Unlike most vacation homes, we have decorated our home with original artwork by local artists. This personalized touch offers an original setting which is very comfortable.

Nice Space, Awesome Location, Great Owner!!

This condo was perfect for us with plenty of nicely decorated space just 15 minutes away from Snowbird and about 35 minutes from Park City. It was fun hopping around to the various ski areas during our stay. The condo has plenty of supplies, especially in the Kitchen with full selections of spices, cooking supplies and basic condiments. Don't buy things like salad dressing or ketchup before you get to the condo. Uncommon touches like this really help make this condo feel like "home away from home". For TV lovers, there are 4 good quality flat screen televisions, one in each bedroom and one in the living room, along with extended cable service. Wifi is broadband and plenty fast. The Garage provides an easy parking option. When we checked out, we accidentally left a key to our own house behind in one of the dresser drawers. Breck, the owner, was very helpful hunting it down and mailing it back to me quickly. Thank you for a comfortable and memorable vacation Breck, we hope to return soon!!

It was clean and well equipped with everything you need.

Property is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with chinaware and appliances. Beds are comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. Property is close to ski resorts and not too far from Salt Lake city. Breck was always quick with his replies and was very accommodating to us with a late check out. We would stay here again for our future ski trips.

Enjoyed our stay

We travelled to Utah for a late season snowboarding trip. The location was perfect. The property was terrific. And Breck was super responsive and helpful. He took the time to get the property ready in advance of our scheduled check-in time and let us know it was ready. He was available for questions during the week. All in all, the experience was terrific.

Great location!

This town home is in a great location minutes from 4 resorts and numerous restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds are comfortable, probably most comfortable in any rental I've stayed in. Although we had no issues, Breck was always quick to respond to all my emails and questions prior to our stay! The house was easily accessible using the combo and the garage is just big enough to fit a full size SUV!! We would definitely stay here again!

Located between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons this townhouse is just 9 miles from Snowbird, and within 16 miles of three more great resorts (Alta, Solitude, and Brighton). Park City is only 30 miles away, making this a great, inexpensive place to stay during the Sundance Film Festival. In addition to skiing, the Wasatch Mountains offer terrific hiking and mountain biking within minutes. This townhouse is located on one of the best road bike routes in the valley. A large recreation center is less than 2 miles away, with an Olympic sized ice rink, indoor and outdoor pools, racquetball (and Walleyball) courts, and weight and Cardio rooms among other features.

When you are ready for a relaxing break from the day's adventures you can dine at one of several great restaurants (some nationally acclaimed) within a couple of miles. If you are looking for a bit more nightlife there are several bars and pubs close by as well as brew-pubs. Salt Lake has a great music scene with numerous concert venues, including several free, out-door concerts throughout the summer. Of course there are also several theater productions and movie theaters.
