Very clean well kept cottage. Lots of windows with plenty of air movement...rarely used the air conditioner. Relatively quiet area not really close to the beach. It is probably a 20-25 minute walk which can be a bit much carrying all your beach attire. Really nice owner and Rosie the dog will greet you as you come and go. Car definitely needed to get around. Would stay again for sure.
We enjoyed our stay at the bungalow so much. It was very private and away from the busy city life. We were able to drive to the beach in 2 minutes, but could have easily walked. Every day we were there, we went to the beach right by the property and it was almost empty. It was great because we could walk along the beach, or just sit and enjoy the view. The bungalow had everything we needed. We didn't cook any meals, but if we wanted to, there was everything there to do that. The furnishings are very modern and appealing. It was just what we were expecting and exactly what we were looking for. The town of Kailua is very charming and has all the amenities you would need. The owner was very helpful and available if we needed to ask a question, but other than that gave us all the privacy we needed. We would highly recommend the property to anyone we know.
This was a very good experience for us. The bungalow was as advertised and the owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable . I would recommend this location because of the accommodation, the well equipped kitchen and beach items. You can walk to town and Rosie the dog was a delight.
