About Sandra Tuttle

I grew up in Sterling Heights MI but moved to Bellaire Michigan in 1998 and absolutely love it here! I love this log home and would live in it but I am now living with my 87 yr old father and caring for him. I am looking for people who can enjoy and care for my home and help cover my costs while I can not.

Sandra Tuttle purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Sandra Tuttle chose Northern Michigan

I bought this place because I always wanted a log home with knotty pine interior and this one had everything I could need with no repairs needed. It is like brand new and modern but cozy.

What makes this cabin unique

I have always wanted a log cabin and this one was just too cute to pass up. I love the loft and knotty pine interior. The gas fireplace is so nice on a cool evening or winter night. And with all of the modern appliances, you are never in need of anything.

Cozy Log Cabin Home nestled in the woods but close to everything!
average rating of 4.9 based on 20 reviews

Cozy and quiet.

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely cottage in the woods. So quiet you can hear the snow fall but close to Schuss Mountain for skiing. Very clean and everything is in good working order. We enjoyed a family action with our adult children and grandson.

Looking for a cabin in the woods? Look no further. This place is located perfectly.

  • 5 of 5

Packing up now after a couples snowmobile weekend getaway. The cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It does not sit right on a trail but access is pretty easy with minimum road riding to get to the trail system. The cabin is roomy and has all the amenities of home. Sandy is VERY easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenary of parking if you are bringing a trailer. We will be back!!!

Nice and cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the cabin for 5 days. It was very nice, clean and cozy cabin. The owner was nice and responded to all my questions right away. She even let us stay a little longer than the required checkout time. We would love to stay there again. Thank you!

A perfect family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We have a great stay at the cabin in the woods! We spent 3 nights this past week. We were hoping for snow to take the kids skiing and we were not disappointed, as we got hit with a winter storm! One day was spent at Avalanche Bay water park at Boyne and another day on the slopes at Schuss. Sandy was also kind enough to give us a tour of her wonderful barn and all of her horses just a few miles down the road. The cabin had all that we needed and was perfectly cozy for the chilly nights. We will be back for sure!

Met our expectations

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was clean and cozy but kitchen was missing big plates or proper knifes. It is short of wine glasses and mugs. Simple things but so useful when u prepare a meal. I had a hard time finding property nr because one VRBO email was saying 5945 and the other 5845. I did not notice that before so a little confusion. We had good time overall and I will recommend it to my friends

Owner's Response: Hi Sylwia, Thank you for your kind comments and I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay at my cozy cabin! I am sorry about the confusion on the different address, it has been corrected and thank you for bringing it to my attention. As for the plates, knives, wine glasses and coffee mugs, I wish that you had contacted me during your stay and I would have been happy to bring more of those items to you. I always strive to make sure everyone enjoys their stay and has everything they need. I will also take care of these items. Thanks again and hope to see you back again soon. Sandy

Quiet, peaceful woods in the Fall

  • 5 of 5

Three middle-aged women who have known each other for 35+ years spent the weekend at Sandra's place. We found it to be very accommodating with 2 bathrooms. The bed headboards were great - and she had everything we needed (except maybe a corkscrew - but I always have an extra or two). It was very clean (important to old ladies), plenty of towels & washcloths. This past weekend was incredible with the colors we encountered on our drives. Sandy was extremely easy to work with - as we had changed our original reservation (darned old people anyway). I would recommend it to friends. We really enjoyed our stay - and may be back one day! Thanks Sandy for your patience and understanding - we had a GREAT weekend; and a great place to stay!
