About Ron Bierman

We love our house. It gives us a sense of joy to be at the lake looking out at the expansive views and instantly feel peaceful and relaxed. Our best memories are from vacations at the lake house with family and friends playing games, cooking out, relaxing, and playing in the lake. We trust you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Great long weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the 2nd time and highly recommend this home for any family gathering. It is a great place to meet our family from the MD/DC area and an easy drive from SC. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals for a crowd. We enjoyed using the grill and the hot tub was so relaxing for adults and fun for the kids too. We used the fire pit, corn hole game, and kayak and the views from the deck are breath taking. We look forward to coming here year after year.

Beautiful home with everything you need!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for a long weekend at the lake and I'm so glad we did! Our group had 6 adults and 1 child and the house had ample room for all of us. First, the house was clean and ready to use when we got there which you always hope for but is not always the case. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking which was really helpful at dinner time. We took the kayaks out several times and used the gas grill provided. Everything was just as described. Beautiful views from the hot tub of the lake in the evenings as the sunset. The owner Ron always responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered any questions we had as well as gave us recommendations on things to do and restaurants in the area that they enjoy. We hope to be back again next summer!

Perfect homey lakefront retreat

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home last summer. We had older children who were with us part of the time and even when all ten of us were there we still never felt cramped. This property gave us the chance to enjoy an idyllic summer vacation. The location of the house on the lake was ideal and the views can't be beat. All the amenities were first rate, the house itself is lovely, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Even though we brought our pontoon boat to dock at the property, we were delighted to find that we had the use of kayaks at the house as well. We very much enjoyed all the outdoor entertaining spaces with hot tub and covered dining on the house deck and down by the water. Great neighborhood to walk in as well. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we felt very much at home during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and I can heartily recommend this property.

Beautiful, well-equipped vacation home with incredible lake views

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here in March -- not typical lake-going time, but it was absolutely beautiful and one of the most stress-busting get-aways ever. Everything about the house is perfect; it's both comfortable and elegant at the same time. Very clean. It was cold outside during our stay so we enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub that overlooks the beautiful lake and mountains across the way -- what an unspoiled and peaceful vista! The house was so well-equipped; we stopped at the grocery store on our way there and literally never had to leave the house. And we didn't want to leave the house! A wall of glass overlooking the lake allows beautiful views from kitchen, living room, dining room and master bedroom. The deck is spacious enough for a large family to eat outside with additional lounging space, and there is even a dining area down on the dock. My boys ventured out in the kayaks that are provided. The owner is extremely communicative and helpful; he seems to truly want to share his gem of a vacation home with others. We had a wonderful vacation!

Above and Beyond Our Expectations

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed in a lot of rental homes all over the country and never really feel at home. I was extremely skeptical of leaving my own home for Thanksgiving week, especially with the amount of cooking that always takes place. We were in awe when we stepped foot onto this Lakefront Property. The landscaping and view was to die for, I am sure it is even more beautiful during peak season. Upon actually walking in the house we were even more taken back by the tastefully decorated living room and kitchen. The view of the lake was just as beautiful from the inside with all the windows facing the water. I checked the kitchen supplies before even going to look at my room and much to my surprise there was an absolute abundance of everything I could possibly need. I have never traveled without a few basic kitchen items that always seem to be missing and this time they were all left in the car. After reviewing the checklist of the home on the fridge I was pleased to see some bible scripture on the side of the fridge and it made me feel right at home at that point. Once I got over the thrill of the kitchen I proceeded to the bedrooms, which my wife was far ahead of me and already deciding which room she wanted. You can tell who the cook is in the family!!! Every room just as tastefully done as the first. The bathroom was filled with plenty of extra towels, so again one less thing I had to take out of the car. We travel from experience and always like to be prepared. I have to say the hot tub was truly the icing on the cake. Nothing like staring up at the stars at night in the hot tub allowing my cares and concerns to melt away as the moon sits on the lake. WOW!!!

My wife and I took our coffee out in the kayaks for an early morning ride on Thanksgiving day before everyone was awake. It was breathtaking as the sun was coming up and the fog was lifting, hard to believe God created it all for us to enjoy.

I actually have never written a review for a hotel or rental home, whether it be a good or bad experience. This one was worth writing home about, from start to finish. The owner was extremely easy to work with and communication was a breeze. Lastly, to fully appreciate the home to its fullest and understand the labor of love that went into the remodel you must look through the the before and after pictures in their coffee table book.

Thank you so much to the owners for opening your lovely home to us, this will be a Thanksgiving to never forget.
