Charming 2 bedroom Victorian apartment completely remodeled, close to hip restaurants and shops on Fillmore, Marina, and the Divisadero corridor. Only 3 blocks to UCSF and Kaiser, walking distance to Golden Gate Park and Bridge. Old SF charm coupled with modern amenities, remodeled kitchen and bathroom. It also has a rare use of a charming enclosed outdoor courtyard. Access to onsite washer/dryer. Quiet yet all the shops, restaurants, and life SF has to offer is within a few blocks.
I have been advertising on VRBO for 3 years and have had wonderful experience receiving guests from all over the world. My other VRBO rental, 319405, has had great reviews and many have enjoyed their stay there. I now have this property, which I think is in a great location and is wonderfully charming. I hope many guests visit San Francisco at this wonderful location and enjoy the many San Francisco culture that are within walking distance. I really enjoy providing my guests with a great place to stay while they get a taste of my favorite city in the world!
This property is part of a 5 unit Victorian building. It is very charming and the location is great for people touring San Francisco or needing place to stay while working or being treated at UCSF or Kaiser. The bathroom and kitchen have been remodeled to accomodate the discerning travelers. Despite its proximity to all the great restaurants on Fillmore and Presidio Heights, this location is very quiet with ample parking on the street, a unique situation for San Francisco.
This building is 3 blocks to UCSF and Kaiser, and therefore, would be more than convenient for students and professionals needing residence while working at the hospital. For those professionals, it is also beneficial in that it is close to all the life amenities that San Francisco has to offer including the shops and restaurants on Fillmore street, Japan town, Golden Gate Park and Golden Gate Bridge. It is also a charming Victorian, traditional style of San Francisco without the difficulty of living in one. The location cannot be beat but at the same time, it is very quiet and residential.
Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this apartment. The location is good and there are shops within 10min walk. The apartment had all we needed as a home from home.
We had no problems at all, and so did not need any contact with Sonia.
If visiting in August I would say take a few jumpers or hoodies to wear in the evenings. Otherwise they is penalty to do in this beautiful city. Enjoy.
The property is in a great location with bus services around the whole city available. Walk to Union Square in around 40mins and Fillmore Street in 10mins. There are plenty of hip places to eat and drink on Fillmore. Parking is also manageable. We had a car for the week and didn't need to pay for parking once - you just have to be smart in where you park. Shopping for groceries easy with Target and Trader Joes just a few blocks away.
The property itself provides all the basics. It is an old building and the effect is shabby chic - with perhaps a little more shabby than chic. It was moderately clean - not bad enough to complain but not immaculately presented. The broken drawers were replaced mid way through our stay and the leaky sink seen to promptly. Sleep quality not helps with the beds being very creaky and the the noise from the road is substantial with old sash windows not doing much for noise insulation and the blinds letting in a lot of light.
For the price it was a good bet as things can get very expensive in SF - especially when looking for accommodation for a family of four. The owner was efficient and business like in dealing with enquiries and issues.
Sonia's apartment was spacious, clean, all necessary equipment supplied. Ideal location close to restaurants, shops, and regular bus service. Sonia was very helpful when contacted about a few issues. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend this apartment.
5 of us ladies enjoyed staying at this older apartment that has been well kept. It was in a nice area, and we walked almost everywhere. When we didn't walk, the bus stops are just a block or so away. Sonia is great to work with...always responds quickly if you have any questions. All the rooms are very usable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal. I live in the country where it's really quiet, so it took me a night to get use to the street noise, but that is the only problem I had (using a fan with it's noise helped a lot). A couple of restaurants we liked were Pizzeria Delfina for dinner (where we got hooked on Affogato) and we liked Sweet Maple for breakfast, both just a short walk away. Fillmore street is a fun place to walk around. Speaking of Affogato...if you like coffee...go to the Blue Bottle (we went to the one in the Ferry Building) and try an Affogato...oh my gosh...soooo good!!! Actually brought tears to one of my friends eyes...lol.
I stayed in this apartment for 5 months while I worked at UCSF and the place was perfect! It was a great location, everything was walking distance or a short cab ride. Sonia was also very accommodating as well if we needed anything at all! It was an amazing place and would recommend it to anyone!
The flat was great. It was exactly as posted on the website. Fillmore street was a lot of fun.
3 blocks from UCSF, Kaiser, short walks to restaurants and night life, shopping, walking distance to Golden Gate Park and Golden Gate Bridge
