We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at High Country Heaven. The pictures on the internet didn't do it justice. Beautifully decorated, cozy and just the right size. We love the open floor plan and all the windows and even though it rained most of the time while we were here, it was still beautiful looking out the huge front windows. We hate to leave but we will definitely be back. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We had a great time. High Country Heaven met all our needs. It was furnished well and very comfortable. No doubt, we chose the best for us! We loved everything about it and we hope to return in the near future!
The property was absolutely lovely furnished. It was very clean an well maintained. Nothing was missing. We had a wonderful time and would like to come back one day. Many thanks to Cindy and Monty for sharing this Heaven on Earth.
This chalet was the BEST!!!! We stayed here for 47 days and it was HOME. The home was very clean and extremely well stocked with linens (high quality sheets and towels), kitchenware, supplies, spices etc. We LOVED it! You do have to love bears and every day we spotted at least one new one in the decor.
The location is ideal. We zip-lined at Hawksnest, did all the tourist things when we had visitors ie to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, the Parkway, Cascades, Boone, Banner Elk, Mast Stores, Blowing Rock etc, etc, etc.
The beds were all very comfortable. The living and dining room furniture too. Bathrooms spacious and well stocked. We could not think of one thing we would have added or that we needed.
We could BEARLY stand to leave!!! We look forward to returning next year and for more years after that.
The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a very comfortable stay, including laundry detergent. It was great not having to purchase dish soap, detergent, soap, etc for our short stay. You can really tell that the owners take pride in this property and are happy to have you there. It was perfect for us and our daughter. The master is located in a loft open to the downstairs and there is a twin bedroom downstairs. The cabin is located on a nice street for walking and near Banner Elk. Overall, highly recommend!
This house is absolutely wonderful!!!we have rented many houses is this area and this is by far our favorite!!! The owner has done a fabulous job making sure you have everything that you need for your stay!!!! It is beautifully decorated and clean!!! Don't miss out on this rental!!!!
Beautiful, well stocked house! The pictures are only a taste of the actual house! We felt at home right when we walked in! It is clean and decorated very tastefully! 3 stories so there is space to move around and not be on top of everyone. My family of 4 stayed here. The location is very peaceful! The woods around the property were just breathtaking! We picked wild blackberries next to the house for breakfast. Coffee on the deck sitting in the glider in the morning and a glass of wine from the local Vineyard and Winery (Grandfather Mountain Winery nearby-highly recommend visiting) were so relaxing. Listening to only the nature. We also enjoyed the Otter Falls Trail near the house. A super short drive down and around the road from this house to see a beautiful waterfall! This place was a gem and we plan to stay again when we return to the area next time!
