Sue Jordan purchased this cabin in 2011
I love the seclusion of this log cabin. Enjoy watching for wildlife from the porch. In the fall and early spring a flock of turkey. Have seen bears and also family of foxes on the mountain.
We were looking for an isolated spot for our vacation and found it here with the convenience of town just a few miles away. The house is phenomenal. It is more than a vacation cabin, it is a home.
Breakfast on the porch is the prefect way to start the day with the only sounds are wind rustling thru the trees and birds waking up. We will definitely stay here again.
We are so glad that we got to meet Sue and Steve. They are great people.
Very nice cabin. Good price. Quiet, private setting. Clean. Nice appliances, including washer/dryer and nice tv's. Would stay again. Fast deposit return.... Thank you!
Our family had a great stay at this nice log cabin. Miss Sue was very accommodating as our trip was a spur of the moment decision. The home is right on the edge of Andrew's but feels much more private.
This property is convenient to Nantahala, Cherokee, and Bryson City. The beds are comfy and the fire pit was a hit. I'd definitely recommend this property.
My family and I had a great time. The kids had a fire in the firepit evey night, explored many trails throughout the 50 acres, they spent numerous hours sitting and playing at the small pond, creek, and waterfall area. While me and my wife enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the huge wrap around porches. The great open living space was cozy and perfect to hang out in front of the fireplace while my wife and daughter cooked meals on the great island cooktop space. There was plenty on room inside to spread out with the three bedrooms and separate living/game room with its own fireplace, TV, and French doors leading out to its own porch and swing. Also dont want to forget to mention the awesome shower in the master suite with 10 total shower heads. All n all, great stay! And already booking our next stay. Big thanks to Mrs. Sue and Mr. Steve for their southern hospitality. Nearby Ridge Runner Ziplines is a must!!
We have stayed at several locations over the years and this location is now our favorite. Secluded and breathtakingly beautiful! Everyone in our group of 8 was comfortable and rested well. Six of our eight went zip lining and had a blast! Thank you Sue for giving us such a wonderful place to stay and for all of the happy memories. We will be returning to this cabin!
great cabin. Lots of privacy. Room to park several cars or off road toys. Many things to do nearby. White water, zip lines, hiking, horseback riding. We brought our 2 dirt bikes and 2 jeeps and he a great week in NC. Your cell phone won't work here and that's a good thing!
