Enjoy Denver's hippest neighborhood-- charming, comfortable, quiet two-bedroom close to Sloan's Lake & the Highlands downtown.
The unit is located in Denver's Highlands neighborhood--One of the 2012 top five best neighborhoods in America according to Men's Journal. There are so many new restaurants and things to do -- you might even think about moving to this neighborhood!
Downtown Denver is great – but the real action is now in the Highlands!
Enjoy a quick walk or bike-ride around the lake then go out and enjoy restaurants and shops not only in the Highlands downtown but also many of the neighboring communities like Tennyson, Edgewater and Sloan's Lake - each with their own restaurants and shops. Also enjoy downtown Denver and the art museums, sporting events, outdoor activities and nightlife. (Only a bike-ride or short taxi away!)
The sunny unit is fully-furnished with everything you might need to enjoy your visit to Denver- Private back patio, front patio, and 2 bedrooms with Queen Beds, newly renovated bathroom, flat screen TV, DVD player and high-speed internet.
You will definitely enjoy your time at this prime location. I often have people tell me “it is just so comfortable and like home it is hard to leave!”

Nicole purchased this condo in 2005
Highlands/Sloan's Lake is the best location in the Denver area! Here you have the best of both worlds; location to Mountains, DIA, Boulder, Downtown Denver and the local nightlife and yet you feel like you are in the suburbs as it is quaint and peaceful!
The cable went during the snow but we had net flix's so it was cool .the kitchen really has everythjing you need an for a fsmily that loves cook to that was
great.never met the owner but she was lovely on the phone wiht us.i would recomend this to anyone who loves a great area this is it . My husband, our son &myself can't wait to back.
This is the third time we have stayed at this location. As usual, it was warm and inviting. With the laundry facilities available, it met all of our needs. It is in a great location and close to all the places we wanted to see. We would stay here again without reservations.
Nicole was an attentive and kind host. She and her husband fixed a couple of things in a timely way to make our month-long stay comfortable.
The unit is part of a 3-apartment ranch house: it is quite small for a 2-bdr, but well-appointed. For 4 of us, including 2 small children, it was a bit tight for a month, but for shorter stays or smaller families, it would seem perfect. And one cannot beat the location across the street from Sloan's Lake and playground and biking trails and general beauty. I recommend it even further as it was a very good deal for the price. Kudos, Nicole...
My family stayed here over labor day weekend to attend a friends wedding. The location was perfect- so close to sloans lake and downtown. The property was very clean and comfortable- we especially enjoyed the outside private back patio! Surprisingly quiet for the location! Hope to stay again another time! Nicole was great answering questions promptly via text! Highly recommended!
We found this cozy bungalow style apartment very comfortable & convenient. Enjoyed the warm, sunny front porch for our early morning coffee. Beautiful Sloan's Lake right across the street for us to walk, which our dog really liked! We especially liked the private back patio. Having so many great little eateries within walking distance was really nice too. Great eclectic neighborhoods nearby to explore. Very convenient to downtown Denver; Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center, Coors Field, 16th St. Mall & restaurants. Loved the fact that it was so close to good hiking trails and very close to family that live in the area. Great place!
Great location, looks lovely. Small with just 1 bath so good for a couple or young family of 4. Nice to ride bikes around lake. Walk to Starbucks (about .4mile) is handy. Kitchen had spices and wrap/foil, etc so that was a plus for cooking.
Issues: Couches are very uncomfortable, dining table has only 2 seats, back patio table/chair set was dirty and I didn't feel like having to clean it to use it. Bathroom is VERY small. Faucet in sink angles the water outward and low edge of sink allows water spray all over. Shower handle VERY difficult to turn water off/on. Thigh touches toilet paper dispenser while sitting on toilet, even for slender person.
2 air conditioning units didn't cool the space as well as needed, but it WAS very hot during our stay (mid-90's).
These are issues that affect the daily living aspect. We were very busy visiting with our son during our stay so spent little time inside this unit. Probably would have been more unhappy if we had more free time to spend trying to relax and eat more meals here.
