The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and an adjacent bathroom with the same roomy shower, plenty of natural light and a convenient laundry area complete with a washer and dryer . The living room features a new couch with a queen-sized hide-a-bed (most comfortable for children and teens), additional comfortable seating, and a 60" HD smart TV. There are flat screen televisions and air conditioners in each bedroom. Granite counter tops and a fully equipped kitchen give you the comfort and convenience of cooking at home when you want to enjoy a romantic dinner for two or just catch up with family or friends. You can enjoy your meals at the dining table or the more laid-back bar-height counter.

This beautifully landscaped property has plenty of shady walkways, private seating nooks and restful water features. The expansive Pavilion Pool is surrounded by lounging cabanas and an inviting community lanai with a big screen TV and cozy sofas and chairs. There is an adjacent whirlpool spa. The Garden Pool offers a tropical, flower-filled, quiet atmosphere perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a good book.

Why Steve Trentadue chose Maui

I visited my friends' condo in the same property and fell in love with it and its location. Lahaina and the surrounding area retains much of it's historic charm and is a vibrant community that offers some of the best art, dining, shopping and outdoor activities available in the islands. People watching is a favorite activity and this property is just minutes away from the heart of the gathering area for local characters and visitors from all over the world.

What makes this condo unique

Stroll along the waterfront looking for the tastiest ice cream, check out the galleries and shops or just indulge in people watching while listening to the free music at Cheeseburger In Paradise. This property is perfectly located within a short walking distance of all this and more. This is not just a vacation rental, it's our getaway home too, so we made sure it is comfortable, convenient and relaxing. Our recent redecorating includes new furnishings, cozy mattresses and a touch of island decor to help us feel like we are in paradise when indoors. We cook at home a lot, so we have equipped the kitchen with all we think our guests will need. Since we like to go to the beach, we thought you might like to as well, so we make a variety of beach gear available to you. Some things do migrate to other units from time to time, so if something is missing, we have a guest services representative who will do her best to accommodate your needs.

This is our third stay at Aina Nalu. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the location is fabulous. It's just a couple of blocks off the main street in a picturesque area nestled between a beautiful church and a stone fort in a quiet, mostly residential street, and is literally just a 4 or 5 minute walk to the heart of the town. Lahaina is full of history and characters! You just have to walk within a 5 or 6 block radius to be immersed in Hawaiian history. Great town.



We stayed in unit B-107 this time and it was everything we wanted. Very comfortable, clean and nicely equipped. It has a good location far enough away from the back of the property which is next to the highway and close to one of the pools. The owners rent it themselves so the rates were very good. We plan to stay here the next time we return to Maui and would recommend it to anyone.

Notes:
2 - 3 blocks from downtown Lahaina including the waterfront and numerous restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. 2 - 3 blocks from shopping center with grocery store and pharmacy. Excellent coffee just around the corner. Baby Beach and the beach at 505 are within walking distance. Only 7 to 10 minutes from the beaches at the major resorts. The kitchen includes many items not included in other units, and you will be well equipped to prepare meals at home whenever you wish. The custom decorating gives a homey, comfortable feel.

We loved this condo and everything that came with it. Very well kept and there were 0 bugs anywhere near our place. We would definitely stay here again if we were fortunate enough.

Very nice unit & the Perfect Pool

Condo is well appointed, in very good condition, and in a very convenient location within two minutes walking to downtown and a minute or two driving to groceries, etc. The large pool is great with the perfect warm temperature. In fact, we spent more time there than the beach as we had a 2yr old that loved the pool as much as we did. Only downfall is that complex parking is expensive ($20/night) and the street parking was near impossible to get. Lot across the street is $15 and everyone else charges for parking so its simply an added cost to factor in.

We loved the Aina Nalu condos! Absolutely beautiful and only a block from everything!

This was our first time in Maui and we will never forget it! The condo was perfect! Extremely well maintained, prime location, had all the amenities you could want, and even the ones you didn't even know you would need. We loved that they had beach chairs, ice chest, and boogie boards in the closets. Made our trips to the beach worry free. The condo was very clean, up to date, and loved that the AC was on when we arrived. I couldn't believe that we could literally walk every where we wanted to go. We plan on coming back next year and you can bet we will be booking with Steve again!

Good location and meticulous clean appartment

Very well maintained condo, super comfortable for 4 people. Very clean, well equipped. We stayed as a family of 6 so sleeping for #5 +6 was not very comfortable (mattress on sofa bed uncomfortable) and pans and pots are small. Location in Aina Nalu is very convenient for evening strolling through Lahaina. Nice pools, beautiful flowers/plants in the resort. Skip parking offer for $20 in the resort - we always were able to find a parking spot close by.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the 5 stars! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your choosing to stay with us. Sorry to hear you were uncomfortable on the sofa bed. I'll look into that when I am there at the end of next month and see if it can be made more comfortable or needs to be replaced. I get what you're saying about the small pots and pans. We stay in our unit at least a couple of times a year, and I usually have to replace the big pots and pans each time. They apparently migrate to other units and never find their way home again. They are probably hanging out with the ice buckets, wine glasses and serving dishes that also migrate elsewhere regularly. I'll keep trying though. Sooner or later all the other units will be filled up with my wayward items! I appreciate your cheerful and positive forebearance.

Good location - fair accomodations

The location of this unit in is the redeeming factor! You are literally 5 minutes from the main street and it is filled with all kinds of shops to browse and it is within 15 minutes of the harbor. However, we have stayed in several VRBO's over the past several years and this set up just wasn't quite to our liking. Steve is a VERY nice person and truly seemed concerned that we have a good stay and we appreciated his attitude a lot!

Compared to VRBOs we have stayed in on the Big Island and in Florida, these units just weren't nearly as quiet and peaceful as our other stays. The condos all have glass slats for windows so they don't close up completely to block out the neighbors conversations etc. Even when we ran the air conditioner (which could only be run for 4 hours at a time on a timer), we could still hear our next door neighbors conversations as if we were in their condo with them. We also could hear the neighbors above us throughout the night which made sleeping a bit tough.

The lady who was supposed to greet us and show us around/orient us never bothered to show up. Steve graciously refunded the $75 fee we were charged for this since Carol didn't show up but we would have preferred to get the orientation and layout of the place from her instead of having to stumble through the process.

When we pulled up to Aina Nalu, I went to the front desk asking for directions to our unit and the lady there was not helpful at all. Carol wouldn't answer her phone but fortunately we were able to reach Steve and find out how to get to our condo. Very much appreciated Steve's attentiveness the day we arrived!

Unfortunately, next to the last day we were there, our neighbors condo was broken into and the robbers took her passport and her whole suitcase that was all ready to go to the airport. The police told us it's not uncommon for break-ins in these condos because the glass slats can easily be removed once the outside screen is unscrewed and taken off. Not the best news - we were very thankful we didn't have any issues with this.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are sorry to hear that you found it less than enjoyable. Unfortunately, there are times when occupants of neighboring units can be a bit noisy when talking on the outside walkways. After all, they are on vacation and excited to be there. Most people are cool with a friendly reminder to try to keep it down if it goes on for longer than a few minutes. They are probably embarrassed to realize that their conversations are being overheard. Also, maybe you were not aware that you can contact the Home Owners’ Association security personnel regarding noise complaints during quite hours. They will contact the occupants and ask them to quiet down so you don’t have to. This information and the number to call is located in the guest information book in our unit. The Outrigger Resort personnel are not at all helpful, and, in fact, are only responsible for their guests, so we don’t advise trying to talk to them. We are distressed to hear that there was a break-in and theft in a neighboring unit. The Homeowner’s Association is in the process of remedying the problem with the glass louvers, and it should be taken care of shortly. We appreciate your advising us of this problem. We will talk to Carol to find out if there was a reason she was unavailable. She is usually very conscientious. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Finally, thank you for your compliments regarding Steve. He is our son and does a wonderful job helping us with our guests. It’s always gratifying to get such positive feedback about him. Located in the heart of historic Lahaina in Maui. The property is located within the Outrigger Aina Nalu Resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the location is fabulous. It's just a couple of blocks off the main street in a quiet and picturesque area that is mostly residential, but is just a 4 or 5 minute walk to the main street of town. You just have to walk within a few block radius to be immersed in Hawaiian history. You're only a 1 minute walk from a great cup of coffee at a coffee house run by a lovely Italian woman or a 5 minute walk to any of several superb restaurants. There is a supermarket a couple of blocks away.
