quiet mountain getaway
The cabin was lovely! Quiet and cozy, super clean. The owners were very good about getting back with me to answer any questions we had. This was a great cabin to spend my 1 year wedding anniversary in. We will definitely be back!
We were looking for a place to relax and get-away and this cabin was perfect. There are neighboring cabins but surprisingly the cabin felt secluded. When we were on the porch or in the hot tub we could occasionally hear traffic but nothing annoying. All of our communication with the owner was prompt and courteous. When we first arrived we immediately noticed the air conditioner was dripping inside the cabin. We contacted the owner and he responded immediately and quickly came to fix the issue. He was friendly and offered some suggestions of things to do in the area, but was not pushy and did not stay long. We used the hot tub the first night and it was warm enough to relax, but as the cabin information indicated it was not really hot the first night. The cleanliness of the cabin was satisfactory. One previous reviewer mentioned an issue with the mattress. It was not a major issue with us but the mattress was not a firm support. We watched a little TV but we were not interested in watching much and the options for channels was limited. Our cell phone services for the entire area was spotty which also was not a problem for us. The cabin has Internet service which was what we needed. Overall, we were pleased with the cabin and would recommend staying there.
Cozy private cabin
Enjoyed the hot tub and got to unplug with family
Property was clean and easily accessible. Very remote and quiet. Had essentials for cooking, bathing, and general needs. Enjoyed reading the journal of others who have stayed, and their suggestions for activities!
Suggestions: although there is a cleaning fee, departing instructions would have made me feel better (strip linens off bed? How to turn hot tub off if necessary?).
Great place to stay
We loved the cabin and it's location in the are. The only thing we could suggest is a new bed, the springs popped and creaked everytime we'd shift position in the bed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay at tha Bumblebees. We normally get good comments about the bed, sorry if it wasn't up to your standards.
Hope to see you again
Good property for a good price.
