This is the perfect dog friendly property for relaxing outdoors in Summer or cosying up indoors in Winter, while still enjoying the picturesque surroundings. Stairs lead down to the front deck of this quaint cottage, where there is ample space to sit with a glass of wine or cook dinner on the BBQ. There is a deck which wraps around one side of the cottage and leads to another large deck area at the back, which overlooks the lake and would be the ideal place for hanging a hammock and reading a book. Descend the wooden staircase from the deck to access the lakeside.
Walk through the front door of the cottage and into the kitchen and open living space. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the large window which provide sweeping views out over the water and flood the property with natural light. New wood floors have been laid throughout this space and wood panelling on the walls gives the cottage a warm, homely feel. The corner kitchen is well organised and equipped, with open cabinetry full of colourful crockery. It has a freestanding oven with 4 hot plates and a microwave built into an alcove above the bench to maximise space. There is an extendable 4 seater dining table, a great spot for a game of cards or a cosy family dinner. The lounge area has a three seater couch, with a single armchair next to the electric fireplace. Stroll out of the living area onto the upper deck, where there’s a table and chairs to kick back and take in the vista. Also on this level is a renovated bathroom, with shower, toilet and vanity.
Up the stairs to the second level reveals the sleeping area and an extra living or sleeping space. There are two double beds beside each other, as well as a chest of drawers to store away luggage and a desk with two chairs. Don’t expect to get too much work done though, as the desk faces the window which provides an elevated perspective of the lake. In front of the window is a carpeted area which can be used as a second living space or another sleeping area, complete with sofa bed, velour armchair, large flatscreen TV, VHS and DVD player. There’s a ceiling fan in the loft to help you sleep on the warmer Summer nights.
The property also has free access to Boats at the resort on a first come, first serve basis. Any guest can help themselves to the oars, life-jackets and the boats. There is a total of 6 - 14ft row boats and 4 - 16ft canoes.
