William C. O'Fallon
About William C. O'Fallon
Retired Land Developer/Builder who spent 50 years in St. Louis, MO and got to the point where I missed the seasons after living in Florida for fifteeen years. Looked for three years before discovering Brevard and Connestee Falls. Found everything and more that we wanted. There simply is no better place than this area. Unfortunately, we cannot be there full time, so want to share our home and the natural beauty of the area with others. This home was professionally remodeled over the past two years ago and features not only a fully remodeled kitchen but one that reflects and is equipped for my hobby of being a very serious amature chef.
William C. O'Fallon purchased this House in 2009
Why William C. O'Fallon chose Brevard
Connestee Falls and Brevard offered eveything we wanted in a place to live. Moderate climate, natural beauty, Great Trout Fishing, Superb Music Venue and for a town of it size some very good resturants. Maybe the most important attribute are the people. Connestee Falls offers almost everything within it gates, but yet is just minutes away from the DuPont State Forest, as well as many spectactular waterfalls and views. Perhaps the most important reason to consider this property is the fact that it is our home and is furnished more upscale that the typical rental. The homes was extensively remodeled two years ago and features a large outdoor deck. It is not your typical rental property, but rather our home and we think you will find the furnishings to be upscale.
What makes this House unique
From the Master Bedroom and the guest bedroom you will wake up to a private wooded view. Every hour the view will look different. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were totally remodeled within the last two years and features all top name appliances and has everything one needs to be a professional chef. In fact, approx $50,000 was spent remodeling this home and we think you will agree that it shows. The layout of the home in essence features two master bedroom and baths.

Escape to the mountains
Home was extremely well kept and well provisioned. Owners instructions very detailed and helpful. Decorated with mountain decor, set in the woods, a neat mountain retreat.
Location, Cleanliness, Beautiful Home
Bill had great communication. Before arriving read helpful hints. We didn't and thankfully he was very easy to get ahold of for us to get into the home. I recommend downloading an offline map for our service was in and out. We used the security office phone which is open 24/7.
Property has 24 security, wildlife, fishing for $12 with 4 stocked ponds, pool, ping pong, trails, waterfalls, and beauty. It's a middle point for Brevard, Hendersonville, Pisgah, and Dupont Forest. I am thankful we payed a little extra to stay at this property. It really felt like home. My husband at 1st thought it looked to stuffy in the pics but it is not. The pics do not do the home justice. Decor and coziness is perfect. It's not just a house put together for a stay. The carpets and location of the things in the house are placed great.
My husband fished in the mornings while my boys and I prepped for our outings. We went to the lookout point on the property twice a day. We sat every morning on the back patio and evening if we were home. As much as you are in a community they have preserved the being in the woods feeling. We saw deer everyday. Dollar General is right around the corner. Lightning bugs were out and added sparkle to our nights. We hiked the trails that provided waterfalls on the property. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were a great size.
You do have to drop off garbage and pay, $1.50 for 2 bags. This is the only con but seriously don't let this deter you it isn't far from the property.
You will not regret your choice choosing this home !!! Thank you Bill!!!
We Will Definitely Return!!
We will definitely return to this property. The house is exactly as described and then some. The kitchen is more than well equipped for anything you might need. The house is packed with all supplies you might need during your stay. We grilled each night and enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the hummingbirds. Bill is extremely courteous to work with and made our planning very easy. Connestee Falls is located close enough to visit downtown Brevard, DuPont Falls, Sliding Rock and many other falls. For breakfast, Cedar Mountain Cafe is just down the road and has excellent food. We visited 7 waterfalls and played a par 3 course during our short 4 day stay! Thank you again Bill! We'll be visiting again soon!
This Connestee treasure was the perfect getaway for our family. The home was wonderful and lfully stocked with everything you would need for your home away from home. We spent time at the lakes and did some amazing hiking. Bill was a great host and offered suggestions and along the way. We will be sure to return!

Our home is located in the gated community of Connetee Falls approx. eight miles south of Brevard, NC. The property is located close to the East Fork gate and is on one of the more level streets within the community. The driveway is also level. Connestee Falls is just a short drive from DuPont State Forest, where scenes from the hit movie Hunger Games were filmed. It is also close to Caesars Head State Park and within a short drive of six State or National Forest/Parks and some of the best trout fishing in the East. We are in Transylvania County, which is known as The Land of Waterfalls with over 250 waterfalls. The region has also become known as the road and mountain biking capital of the South. The area also has approx. 500 miles of hiking trails.
