Overview

North Carolina House Rental Photos and Description

Enjoy the natural beauty of this lovely home located near downtown Brevard in the Connestee Falls Resort Community. Connestee Falls is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, just six miles southwest of Brevard, NC. Connestee Falls sits on 4000 acres, and incorporates four lakes, many hiking trails with scenic views, large club house with two restaurants, tennis courts, walking track, golf course, driving range, bocce courts, pickleball, heated pool, and fitness center.

Connestee Falls is ecologically designed to preserve the natural environment, in an uncrowded, unpolluted, unhurried way of life. Deer and other wildlife roam free throughout the community. There is as much, or as little to do, as you desire.

This wonderful mountain retreat has everything you need for that great escape from the fully stocked kitchen to all your linens, cable television and a movie library. One of the best features is the large deck, with ever changing views with the seasons. The Master Bedroom and the guest bedroom will wake up to these fantastic views and then sit on the sun porch, or deck and enjoy these views again. It's one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Waterfalls and hiking trails abound in this gorgeous area. You can hike, mountain bike, or go horseback riding on these trails that range from easy to difficult. Some of the best trout fishing in the East in almost right out your door. Your vacation can be as active or relaxing as you choose.

This home was completely remodeled, including the kitchen and both baths. The kitchen is equipped for gourmet cooking with the top names in appliances, as well as grainte tile countertops. The home featurs a gas fireplace in the great room and wood buring fireplace in the sun porch. There is also a fire pit on the deck. The master bath has a vanity with double bowls The guest bedroom is furnished with twin beds and is almost as large as the master bedroom and is on the opposite side of the house. The guest also has a double bowl vanity. The view from the sun porch overlooks a private wooded setting. The large deck also has ths same view and you can enjoy the Humming Birds coming to feed almost within reach. The deck has upscale patio furniture and large gas grill.

In summary this is our home and we spend as much time here as we can. It features upscale furnishings and is not your typical rental property.

About William C. O'Fallon

Retired Land Developer/Builder who spent 50 years in St. Louis, MO and got to the point where I missed the seasons after living in Florida for fifteeen years. Looked for three years before discovering Brevard and Connestee Falls. Found everything and more that we wanted. There simply is no better place than this area. Unfortunately, we cannot be there full time, so want to share our home and the natural beauty of the area with others. This home was professionally remodeled over the past two years ago and features not only a fully remodeled kitchen but one that reflects and is equipped for my hobby of being a very serious amature chef.

William C. O'Fallon purchased this house in 2009

Why William C. O'Fallon chose North Carolina

Connestee Falls and Brevard offered eveything we wanted in a place to live. Moderate climate, natural beauty, Great Trout Fishing, Superb Music Venue and for a town of it size some very good resturants. Maybe the most important attribute are the people. Connestee Falls offers almost everything within it gates, but yet is just minutes away from the DuPont State Forest, as well as many spectactular waterfalls and views. Perhaps the most important reason to consider this property is the fact that it is our home and is furnished more upscale that the typical rental. The homes was extensively remodeled two years ago and features a large outdoor deck. It is not your typical rental property, but rather our home and we think you will find the furnishings to be upscale.

What makes this house unique

From the Master Bedroom and the guest bedroom you will wake up to a private wooded view. Every hour the view will look different. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were totally remodeled within the last two years and features all top name appliances and has everything one needs to be a professional chef. In fact, approx $50,000 was spent remodeling this home and we think you will agree that it shows. The layout of the home in essence features two master bedroom and baths.

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful home! Very comfortable and beautifully decorated . The sunroom is wonderful to sit in and enjoy the view as well as relax! The location is an easy drive to Town for supplies. It is so peaceful I never heard a thing and slept well. The home is great and the driveway level and the lot is walkable! This is a perfect place to stay when in Brevard.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stay in VRBO's several times each year and this one is now one of our favorites. This home feels less like a rental and more like a home. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here and the kitchen had every possible utensil one could need. While there a many houses around the neighborhood is incredibly quiet. This was a peaceful relaxing long weekend. I almost forgot to mention that the housekeeping service was excellent. The home was very, very clean. We felt badly that we didn't have any cash on hand to leave a tip for the housekeeper! Bill was easy to communicate with and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Home in the Mountains

  • 5 of 5

We spent five wonderful days at this lovely home. Bill was great with providing us information about the area and sights to see. The house is very comfortable and pictures do not do it justice. We would definitely return and stay here again. Thank you Bill for your hospitality!!!

Perfect spot to enjoy bluegrass & waterfalls

  • 5 of 5

This was our third year to come to the Mountain Song Festival but first to stay right in Brevard [rather than a B&B south of Asheville]. We not only appreciated the convenience of being closer to the Brevard Music Center but also took advantage of the location to hike to waterfalls in nearby Dupont State Park.

Beyond location, the layout of 181 Usgewi was well-suited for us two retired couples to share with areas for us to congregate comfortably but also separate space at either end of the house for bedroom/bathroom. Though we ate only our breakfast "at home", we were grateful for the well-equipped and generously stocked kitchen. The owner was in every way gracious and responsive...a real pleasure to work with.

At home in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

The best comment I can make about this property is that after the first night my wife woke up and said "it feels like home here".

The owner is super easy to deal with, the property comes with all the supplies and kitchen equipment anyone can reasonably use. Great location in Connestee Falls, friendly, safe gated community with hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes and tennis.

We have already booked to return.

Our home is located in the gated community of Connetee Falls approx. eight miles south of Brevard, NC. The property is located close to the East Fork gate and is on one of the more level streets within the community. The driveway is also level. Connestee Falls is just a short drive from DuPont State Forest, where scenes from the hit movie Hunger Games were filmed. It is also close to Caesars Head State Park and within a short drive of six State or National Forest/Parks and some of the best trout fishing in the East. We are in Transylvania County, which is known as The Land of Waterfalls with over 250 waterfalls. The region has also become known as the road and mountain biking capital of the South. The area also has approx. 500 miles of hiking trails.
