Spacious 3BR/3BA on a private beach
Whether you are a beach lover, a birdwatcher, or on a hunt for the perfect sunset, our home is just the place for you!
Located on a private white sand beach, towards the end of a secluded peninsula, the house has 270 degree panoramic views of 3 bodies of water (San Carlos Bay, Tarpon Bay, and Ladyfinger Lake).
It is also situated in the heart of the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. A variety of bird species perch on our dock during the day, and you can spot dolphins and manatees playing just a few yards away. The property is also home to a family of endangered gopher tortoises! Watch the wildlife from the comfort of the home, or take a kayak out to the nearby Rookery Islands for a truly spectacular showing of birds.
The house itself has been recently constructed (mid 2011), with all modern amenities, appliances and styling. There is a pool and a hot tub, multiple TVs, WiFi, massaging shower heads, and a Bosch gas stove for the master chef.
This house is our little slice of heaven that we'd love to share with you. There's nothing like watching the sun set on the bay from the rooftop deck, or falling asleep to the soft crashing of the waves just 15 yards from the bedroom window. We hope you take a look for yourself!
We recently hosted German adventurer Dr. Dirk Rohrbach. He’s a contributing photographer and author for National Geographic’s German-language books, and is well-known in his home country for hosting a longtime magazine-style radio show and creating award-winning live presentations.Dr.Rohrbach was here for a nine day, 100-mile kayak adventure along the Great Calusa Blueway. His journey will be featured in “50 States — A Journey into America.” That’s a five-year project in which he aims to document the people, places and experiences that make the United States special.http://www.fort-myers-beach-observer.com/page/content.detail/id/632874/Full-frame-fame.html?nav=5051 https://www.news-press.com/story/news/2018/01/25/german-adventure-journalist-dirk-rohrbach-paddles-fort-myers-great-calusa-blueway/1055078001/
As his local hosts at the Lee County Dept of Tourism said : After days on the water, wind and rain – your home was a extra special treasure for him. He was so grateful and appreciative. He is truly a nature lover and your home was the best possible place for him to appreciate and enjoy." The last three pics are of Dirk, kayaking in the waters around our house. Dirk's Comments : "What a gorgeous oasis ! Spent three nights after paddling 100 miles of the Calusa Blueway, fished right from the dock and caught a sheephshead after just 15mins ;-)
Super clean, quiet with extra soft mattresses for a rejuvenating sleep. Doesn’t get more relaxing!'

Why Kanika Ghai chose Sanibel Island
We saw many places when we were looking to buy, but always came back to this one. We fell in love with it, and bought in 2009, and completed a gut-rehab in 2011.

We had a wonderful time at Dolphin Watch. The house is clean, spacious, has amazing ocean views, and is very accommodating for a family. Our 3 children had a great time swimming in the pool and fishing off the dock. It's true what the other reviewers say about the wildlife. Each day we saw dolphins (once so close to the dock you almost could've reached out and touched it), manatee, a sting ray, crabs, big shells, pelicans, etc. We were sad to leave! Still thinking about waking up to the sounds of the ocean from bedroom window! I'd definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a place in Sanibel. It really doesn't get more peaceful than this!
Fourth time back and the best ever
An entire month of sunny days could have something to do with it or finally figuring out some effective dock fishing strategies. The pool did not need to be heated as the nights were warm. Nothing can beat the parade of birds flying in to the nature preserve to nest for the night and back out across the bay in the morning. Osprey, egret, ibis, heron, pelican sightings are routine as well as dolphins cavorting. The entire back of the house is glass and has a water view. Very comfortable accomodation with spectacularly spacious master suite. Responsive owner. Great privacy and quiet. We were there for ten days before we felt the desire to explore a beach and we never left the island.
A perfect paradise
This home is lovely. It’s an opportunity to step outside a hectic world and into nature’s paradise. Sitting on the dock as dolphins play, birds soar and a sunset sets Just takes your breath away. The house itself is comfortable and full of personal touches like awesome light fixtures. It’s great for a couple or a family. You will never forget it! Loved it!!!
Beatiful And Relaxing Beach House
We had a great time and the property was very well kept. The views are beautiful and got to see dolphins.
Attractive and comfortable house. Great location. Responsive owner.
The house is near everything, yet feels isolated. Being at the end of the road gives the feel of Old Florida, just what we wanted. Dolphins and osprey were ever present. Our dealings with the owner were limited, however, he was congenial and responsive (we asked for more wash clothes and he immediately ordered on Amazon). Having bikes and SUP's and kayaks delivered made the vacation an adventure.
Great retreat for a family get-away!
This property is located on a tranquil part of the island for a truly relaxing vacation but still close enough to town. The home is spacious with gorgeous amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, which easily accomodated our family of four. We enjoyed using the kayaks, the private dock and pool/spa. Lots of beautiful birds hanging around and even some dolphins!
Beautiful, private street on a 75 yd wide peninsula. Property is located on the edge (virtually inside) the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge.
