Small but perfect for one/two!

  • 5 of 5

this place was great for the two of us - very small but had everything we needed. It's right down the road from Main St which - in nice weather - you could walk to if you're up for it. Lots of shops/restaurants/bars nearby and a great location.

We had such a great time on our vacation. Your place is in a perfect location and is just big enough for what we needed. There really isn't anything that we would change. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your little spot.

Very nicely appointed, absolutely perfect location

  • 4 of 5

My companion and I love walking places. The location here is perfect for getting around; you won't have to fight for parking in town. The unit is very nicely equipped. Linens are top notch, kitchenette has everything you need. The owner is very communicative and accommodating, you couldn't want anything more from her. Only downside, which a few other people mentioned, is that the space is quite small. There are shelves in the closet if you want to unpack your clothes but not much extra space for placing luggage or belongings. You just need to be prepared for that limitation. And the bathroom really is tiny. But all in all the space is used very efficiently and the necessities provided are very high quality. Thanks for the great stay!

Serenity in Lake Placid

  • 5 of 5

Spent two nights here in late October - it made for a great experience.

Primarily, the location had been beyond perfect. If you'd like to stay anywhere closer to Main Street, you can likely tack on another 0 to the price range. About a ten minute walk to the shops/pubs, this studio apartment was ideally located.

Well organized, clean, it provided everything we needed. Not exactly a place to spend an entire week unless you're planning to spend the entire day and night out and about. Considering the studio apartment is attached to a home, privacy is something that anyone would initially be concerned about and something that we had been grateful to receive.

If I had to pick any sort of downside, it would be the lack of natural lighting. The apartment had somewhat of a wake-up-in-a-basement feel in the morning; this would only apply to those who are well-used to waking up in bright areas. Even then, this does not necessarily detract from the great stay.

If you're looking to spend a weekend in Lake Placid, stay here.

Our first visit to the Adirondacks

  • 5 of 5

For the last 15 years, my wife and I, both in our early 60’s, have vacationed solely in the Florida panhandle. So, this trip was a totally new adventure for us, and we were more than a little apprehensive. Lake Placid would be our second multi-day stop in our Northeast adventure. We had done extensive online research, however, pictures can only show so much.

Our two-day stay at Serenity in the Pines was most excellent! Our room was very clean and very quiet however, very small. Very peaceful location.

We highly recommend Serenity in the Pines to anyone traveling in the Adirondacks area. Conveniently located in Lake Placid. Wi-Fi an additional plus.

Thank you Angela and Klimenty for a very happy and pleasant memory!
