Excellent Family Holiday
If you are thinking of going on holiday with family or friends you would find it hard to beat this property.
We loved the accommodation, the views, the hot tub and especially the pool.
The welcome pack was very much appreciated. The wine was lovely.
Everything was catered for, we could not of asked for more. We all would like to say thank you so much for letting us stay.
Had an amazing week here. Beautiful place and an amazing owner
The most beautiful farmhouse
We will remember this farmhouse as the most amazing and beautiful place that we have ever stayed, the place itself is beautiful with a incredible warm feel to it. It is taken care of in the best possible way and everything feels personal and welcoming. We have fallen in love with it just by seeing the pictures and reading about it but is was so much better in reality. We have left with very precious memories and feeling very grateful to Massimo for being the kindest and incredibly helpful and patient host.
Really looking forward to coming back..
Excellent property with stunning views
We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored farmhouse. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a best ever swimming pool (including plenty of towels) and with terraces overlooking the valley and the citadel in Victoria. The garden and courtyard have many well maintained succulent plants which were a finishing touch. The owner/host, Massimmo, was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional. Just up the road is a small but well stocked supermarket with larger ones 5 mins away by car if preferred. Gozo is a lovely place to spend a week. We enjoyed a boat trip around the island with swimming and snorkelling , cliff top walks, ancient monuments etc. Xlendi, just down the road had plenty of restaurants and activities. A memorable holiday for all the right reasons and in a stunning property
Absolutely stunning house and spotlessly clean
We had a wonderful holiday in Gozo and it was this beautiful house that really made it. Massimo has provided everything you could need, even a little food package on arrival. The house is conveniently located just a short walk to Victoria or a few mins on the bus, xlendi Bay which is a great place for restaurants was only a 20min walk, probably quicker if you don't have small children as we do. There is a shop at the top of the road 2 min walk with all the essentials. I would recommend Massimo and his wonderful house to anyone. Hope to return one day.
Stayed in several holiday homes over the years and also in gozo but not a patch on this beautiful farmhouse. We could not fault anything and i can tell you i would find one if there was one. Ive had bad health the last few years and i can honestly say im revived in energy and happiness. We didn't want to leave this wonderful haven. There is everything you could possibly need or want there. The local area is so friendly and quite with a lovely shop a walk away. Stunning views across the way and the church bells adding to the serenity. Pool is amazing and water was perfect on the hot days. Best hot tub ive ever been in and ive been in lots ! . Massimo you have every right to be proud of what you have achieved and must make you very happy knowing you make everyone feel ecstatic to be there. Thank you once again as this visit will stay with us for ever. Will always love malta and gozo and keep returning.
The peaceful village of Munxar lies to the south of the island of Gozo. Munxar is very close to the capital Victoria and has a population of about 1019 people. This village offers spectacular imagery such as Xlendi valley, Ghancija valley and Bardan cliffs. Also worth mentioning are the remnants of a prehistoric temple at Ta' Marziena.
The Parish Church, a small baroque temple is dedicated to St. Paul. The village feast falls on the 10th of February which is also a public, national holiday. However the outside festivities are celebrated on the third Sunday of each May. A swift ten-minute country walk along Ras il-Bajjada Road or Victoria Road takes you to Xlendi Bay, a very popular tourist resort. Wedged between majestic cliffs, this fishing village is one of the most picturesque spots on the island.
