Everyone loves the peace and quiet here. The home sits at the end of a no-throughway PRIVATE road but is still only 1.5 blocks from the beach on the South side of 30A just off of Eastern Lake Rd. It is also close to 30A bike path and Eastern Lake. One can rent bikes justblocks away on 30A. See photos for beach accesses which are at the end of the street on Eastern Lake Road. It is closer to the beach then when you stay at most of the seaside developments located on the south side of 30A! Come and enjoy!

I love living in Seagrove Beach especially at this corner near Eastern Lake. I enjoy taking photographs at the beach, traveling, painting, interior decorating, gardening or anything else that involves using one's creativity. I enjoy living a wholistic-healty lifestyle. My plantation style home with palm trees in the front yard is located just two blocks from the beach/Gulf of Mexico at the end of a no through street on the South Side of 30A with its own parking.
Very private with wonderful palm trees in front yard, private deck off main kitchen. Open floor plan with high ceilings and light from every direction. Filled with original art, brick sunroom ad marble floors. Granite countertops in custom kitchen. Two bedrooms. One king size bed one double bed. Jacuzzi in bathroom which can be gotten to from each bedroom. Clean, modern and bright. VERY WELL MAINTAINED. Close to 30A bike path, restaurants, and just 5 minutes to the beach town of Seaside. The Sandestin Outlet Mall is only 15 minutes away. Other seaside towns such as Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seacrest Community, and Gulf Place are just minutes away. My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom unit for three nights. The cottage is located at the end of a short road and is very private. Connie was very accommodating and allowed us to modify our reservation without incurring additional charges. She was also very helpful with local restaurant recommendations (note: if you go to Red Bar, bring cash as that is the only form of payment they accept - good food). The cottage was very clean and private. The short walk to the beach only took a couple of minutes and the beach wagon was a lifesaver for carrying chairs, umbrella etc. The beach is beautiful with wonderful white silky sand. This is a beautiful part of the Panhandle and I would highly recommend for couples or families.
My husband and I were in the area for a wedding and this rental was perfect for the weekend. As described, it offered a large refrigerator, hot plate, outside grill, microwave and coffee maker. Who could ask for more for a couple who loves to dine out! Speaking of dining out, the location is an easy drive to many excellent 30A restaurants.
The layout is charming, as is the decorating. Upon entering the kitchen, one immediately feels relaxed, and it gets more cozy as one continues past the bathroom into the sleeping area with a bed with the most comfortable mattress. This rental was immaculate and the owner gave very concise directions for its use. Since we were busy with seeing the sights, eating out and attending wedding beach activities, we never used the beach area near this rental. This was also because the large outside deck in the well kept backyard, offered a delightful quiet spot to read and relax. We would definitely use this rental again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The place was small and we spent the time we were there in the bedroom but it was charming, well decorated and we didn't need anything more than that. We would definitely stay there again.
My girlfriend and I arrived at the property and were created by the owner. She was very kind and gave us information pertaining to the local area, shops, restaurants, and beaches. The exterior was well maintained and offered privacy. The interior was clean, beautifully decorated, and everything she described during our booking. There was also a number of books you could read.....Frank Sinatra's bio was the best. We had a wonderful time and will be back. It's perfect for a long weekend getaway, or a weekly vacation.
One more thing needs to be noted. On Saturday we drove 20 minutes to Panama City Beach for some snorkeling. Later that afternoon we received a text from Connie that she had placed our towels and a pair of flip flops inside the exterior closet as so they didn't get wet from the rain that was coming through. We also left our hair dryer and my girlfriend's curling iron. Connie called us and confirmed this and sent them to us via USPS at no charge. She went above and beyond.
My husband & I-- along with Chloe (our 16 year old small Lab) ) and Scout (our 11 mo. old Golden Doodle)-- enjoyed our stay at this cute little spot in Seagrove. We were quite familiar with 30A, but had never explored this tucked-away area of Seagrove/Eastern Lake. Connie has done a great job decorating and paid much attention to creature comforts/needs and was spotlessly clean (note: there is no stove/oven-- so you won't want to cook much-- microwave, toaster, coffee maker & blender, though). It IS cozy-- with a double bed and the only "lounging/eating area" is the deck, which was a lovely spot for breakfast and lunch, since we ate out at night. It was nice having a fenced in yard for the doggies (we were prepared for steps leading to deck/cottage entrance and had brought a harness to help Chloe navigate them). The guest house is connected to Connie's house, but was quite private... she was there and helpful to accommodate in any way. It's a couple of blocks to the beach-- we're used to that and rarely stay ON the beach-- and the beach wagon she provided made it easy to haul supplies to the beach and stay set up for the day (periodic walks back to the house to check in dogs, since they aren't allowed on the beach, as we were already aware of). Seagrove Mkt. is 2 miles away (good po boys & cold beer), which is a nice walk if it's not too hot, Publix groc. is just beyond there, and-- of course-- there are fabulous restaurants all along 30A to choose from (short drive). Once we got settled in to our space, we weren't ready to leave after our long weekend's stay... and the beach was perfect-- the weather, the water/waves. Great trip.

My husband and I arrived ( with our two small dogs) late one afternoon. Connie was there to greet us. She showed us around the property and gaves us ideas for our first nights supper. The apartment is cozy and beautifully decorated. The fenced in back yard made traveling with our dogs so much easier.
Shops, restaurants, bike paths, woods, grocery stores, beach just down the street, Seaside festivals, boating and fishing, pet friendly, state parks, outlet mall, lakes, kayaking, fitness center. You can rent bikes down the street.
