We love the Mt Baker area! We live locally in Whatcom county for the past 15 yrs and wanted to have a place a little closer to the mountains. It is a wonderful escape from the city. A place where cell phones do not work and you get to take in all of mother nature. We enjoy our cabin and hope you will as well.

Comfortable, clean, great location. A great place for anyone wanting to have a relaxing, quiet and enjoyable vacation in the Mt Baker area!
We had a great stay at this cabin. Well equipped and great location would efinately book it again.
My husband and I along with my grown son spent Christmas weekend in the cabin. When we first arrived the cabin was cold and the heat seemed to be turned off. We tried for a time but could not get the heat to turn on. Finally, I called the owner, Scott. I was so impressed with his response. Scott and I tried trouble shooting a bit with no luck and then without hesitation Scott sent a repairman out that night. So within a short period of time the heat was on and we were cozy and warm. Problems can come up but the quick response of an owner will get my vote every time. Overall we had a great time. The cabin is located just a half hour from MT Baker Ski area (spent Christmas eve on the slopes), then back to the cabin for some time in the hot tub. The kitchen was equipped well enough that we were able to fix Christmas dinner there. I did take a roasting pan and a few other pans but relied mostly on what was there. The only thing I found lacking was no ladle for soup or gravy. It was a very joyous and relaxing vacation. Thanks Scott!! Chris and Nichole
We had a great stay at this very clean and well maintained cabin. We stayed at the cabin a few months earlier and enjoyed our stay so much that we returned for another visit. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a very well maintained cabin in a beautiful location.
The thing that stuck with me the most about the cabin was the love that its owners and previous renters have placed into it.
From the thank-you post-cards left by previous renters, to the cozy and very well kept rooms, to the amazingly well stocked kitchen and ready-to-go hot-tub, I could tell that great times have been had here. In our stay, we went hiking around Mount Baker just about 10 minutes drive east, had a BBQ at the cabin, had cigars on the back deck, soaked in the hot tub, prepared several meals in the kitchen. The laundry right by the back door adjacent to the hot tub seemed almost strategically placed - hot towels ready when you are done soaking. The cabin is well insulated and warmed up surprisingly quickly considering its vaulted ceiling. Despite the presence of other nearby Cabins, I felt well isolated from the others because of the foliage immediately surrounding the house.
I had left a few spices at home including cooking oil and sugar for coffee, but to my surprise, the kitchen had a ton of stuff already there. There was a coffee machine, oven, glass-top stove, microwave, and dishwasher to add to the convenience. The internet was surprisingly strong, and helpful since I did not receive a signal on my AT&T phone out in the area. The TV is equipped with a DVD player and has HDMI hook-ups, which allowed me to use my PS4 as a media device there. This is a huge perk for me since I manage my own media server -- hooking up a laptop and accessing it was a snap.
Whether you use all these amenities or not, the point is that Scott clearly has thought about comfort in this cabin. My goal was to get away, spend time with my partner, but have all the amenities and luxuries of my home if I needed it, while also being just a few minutes drive for some day hikes. I would say this cabin more than exceeded that purpose and would highly recommend this cabin for those with similar needs.
