Relax to the sound of the surf. Walk directly across the street to the best swimming beach on Maui. Have a BBQ on the rooftop garden or whale watch from the lanai. And of course the view, which will grab you the moment you open the door. This suite is on the 5th floor and is perfectly located so that you can see the sun and moon set over the Pacific Ocean every day of the year. You see the road to Lahaina past McGregor Point in the North and all the way past Little Beach in Makena to the South. You can see the islands of Kahoolawe, Molokai, and on clear days, Molokai. From the lanai you can see if the surf is up at the Cove. Located just a few blocks to the North, it’s Mau’s best place for a surf lesson. You can swim with the dolphins and snorkel with the green sea turtles nearby. “Everything under the sun” kind of outdoor activities as well as great restaurants and world class golf. Fine dining and upscale shopping can be found in Wailea, located a short distance to the South. Or, more moderately priced restaurants and shops, found in Kihei. Affectionately called, “the honeymoon suite,” with its beautifully appointed with Italian marble, granite and fine art it is definitely NOT your grandmother's condo! Very modern and fully furnished for all your vacation needs. Just bring your swimming suit. This property boasts the best ocean views in South Maui and is and is by far the best buy in its class. Once you arrive, you won't want to leave. You will want to come back again and again.

About Mary Malone
I knew instantly the moment I landed on Maui for the first time in 1978 that Maui would be my home. After law school, I became a resident of Maui and opened my law office in 1995. I started renting this beautiful suite in 2006 when I took a sabbatical year from my law practice and made a journey around the world to 29 countries. I enjoy hosting international travelers. I'm delighted to share this extraordinary suite with you and hope to make your stay here in magical Maui the best vacation of your lifetime.
Mary Malone purchased this Condo in 2000
Why Mary Malone chose Kihei
This property stands above others in the building as well as in the neighborhood as a truly 5 star experience, not only in the quality of upgrades and decor but also with the 5 star concierge services. I am happy to make any special arrangements for you at no extra charge. I can direct you to the best of Maui and assist with any special occasion to make it absolutely perfect.
What makes this Condo unique
I searched from Maalaea to Wailea before I purchased this property. It was the unsurpassed direct 180 degree ocean view that sold me on this property the moment I opened the door. No other property on the mauka side of South Kihei Road has a better view. The County of Maui recently upgraded the property to ocean front in order to differentiate it from other properties with “peek-a-boo” views. This property is also superior to every other property on the mauka side to South Kihei Road because you hear the gentle sound of surf rather than road noise. The proximity to every activity you might want from renting a stand up paddle board on your way to the beach or the best golf experience on the planet makes this suite the perfect choice for your vacation, honeymoon, anniversary or family reunion. Come see, I'm sure you will agree

We enjoyed our stay. Spent a total of 15 days on the islands at 4 different locations. The last week on Maui at Mary's place. Had everything we needed for exploring and spending time on the beach. View is great. Location is great. Beach is just a few steps away. Complex was quite and peaceful. There's a big outlet store on Piilani Hwy. at Ohulai Road. This is where to go to buy souvenirs. They have most everything at half the price you'll pay anywhere else. Mary was very helpful. We were on the Big Island when all the earthquakes started and the eruption started. She text me to make sure we were safe and let me know her place was open if we wanted to come early. The unit looked to have been recently updated and painted. The air condition worked great when we needed it. But the trade winds were working very well, LOL. We would open the windows in the bedroom the one over the door and the sliding door, it felt great. Next trip to Maui I'll try to book our stay at Mary's place.
Location is Perfect!!! 5 stars
This condo is in a perfect location in South Kihei. Its located in the middle of everything and right across the beach. You get plenty of sunshine. If you go further north or further south you might not get some sun. The condo had everything you will need. Mary the owner is very nice and very organized in getting you situated and recommending the best activities and eaterys. She will let you know step by step in advance the do's and don'ts. We did a Luau at the Grand Wailea Beach Resort. The food is amazing and the price is well worth it. We did the Mokolini Cave and Snorkle excursion. That is worth the money. Make sure you ask for Stephanie as the guide and Chad as the Capitan with Blue Water Rafting. The road to Hana is fantastic, book with Valley Isle and book it with your guide Charlie. You will not regret it. He keeps you laughing the whole time. He explains everything and he's very conscientious of your safety. The best beach to visit is Makena,,, wow the water color is awesome. The sand is beautiful. There might be a possibility that the waves break on shore and you swim at your own risk. We know how to swim but even so we didn't take the chance. Life guards are present and advise all beach goers of the dangers swimming in these conditions. Best Mexican restaurant is "Freds" in So. Kihei and definitely go to "Cafe Ole". We weren't impressed with restaurants in shopping malls and the chicken tasted gamey and steaks had a lot of fat. Local pineapple is a must!!!
This was my 2nd time to stay and if I have another chance I will stay again.
Good luck and God Bless
This condo was perfect for us.
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Kamaole Beach Royale. The location is perfect, close to the beach and loads of restaurants within walking distance. Everything you could possibly need was there in the condo. We used the beach chairs and beach umbrella whenever we went to the beach. The balcony was great for watching the sunset and we both fought over who got to use the bed on the lanai. We would highly recommend this property to any of our friends. It made our stay much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel room.
Excellent Vacation Rental and Location
Great location across the street from Kam I beach. Very nice view from the Lanai of the water, and a little direct view of the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The description of the condo is accurate. It is a clean and well maintained 1 bedroom with a nice breeze that keeps it cool during the day. It is well equipped with everything needed to cook, and with beach items such as towels, chairs, coolers, etc. The lanai has a small table where we had coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings, and it has a small day bed that is a great place for a nap.
We stayed for 10 days in October, and there it was 85 degrees every day with no rain in Kihei. The complex was quiet, and the pool is clean and well maintained. We have been to Maui several times including staying twice in Kihei, and we would stay here again.
Jeff, I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Beach Side Beauty! I hope that you brought home many happy memories with you and that you will return one day. Until then, I'm sending you aloha and mahalo for your kind review! Your host, Mary
Amazing Value, Well Appointed and Awesome View!
My wife and I have been to Maui four times now (twice at the Kamaole Beach Royale) and this was by far the best condo we have stayed in so far. This is the first time that the condo we stayed in was such a cut above that I felt compelled to leave a review. I would call the Kamaole Beach Royale resort a great value already with its low prices, near beach location and awesome views. In general, the higher the floor, the better the view, with very good unobstructed views starting at about floor 4. Thus this unit which is on the 5th floor, and on the forward projecting portion of the building, has a truly spectacular 180 degree view of the ocean, the beach, and amazing sunsets. But the view is not all, as this particular unit was well furnished and had a very comfortable king sized bed. There was even a spotting scope and a bed on the lanai! The bed on the lanai was a very unique and wonderful place to relax and watch the world go by Maui style. The condo also had everything you needed to cook your own meals, pots, pans and dishes of course, but also little things that might go missing in other places, like plastic wrap, cooking oil, and newer appliances. Mary the owner was a pleasure to deal with, and is a good communicator via email or phone. She also kindly organized an early check in for us as our flight arrived about 3 hours before the official check in time. We loved the pool here too. It was always clean and didn't smell of too much chlorine the way some pools can and the water was very warm. I noticed a substantial solar pool heater at the back of the resort and I'm sure this helped keep the pool water comfy warm. We enjoyed the pool so much that we swam in it almost everyday. We had some friends who were staying at the Ritz in Kapalua and we visited them for the day and hung out at the Ritz pool. The room at the Ritz really amounted to a basic hotel room (no kitchen or separate bedroom) with a partial ocean view. The pool at the Ritz was nice, if a bit shallow, and we had fun swimming in it and the Ritz staff spritzed us once and gave us a frozen grape. But when we left, our friends returned to their basic hotel room and probably went out to an overpriced restaurant in Kapalua, while we went back and cooked ourselves a meal in our condo and enjoyed a Maui sunset from our lanai. Honestly for us, this room at the KBR was more fun and more valuable to us than a room at the Ritz. I highly recommend this unit at the KBR.
Aloha Dwight & Rhonda:
I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the kind review. I hope that you will return again for your next visit to Maui. When you do, your home by the sea will be ready and waiting for you! Until then....
