Why Eileen Murphy owner call first 617-594-9822/Local Contact Mercedes 808-298-368 chose Maui

Maui No ka oi! This means Maui is the best! I fell in love with Maui years ago. I feel it is the closest place to heaven on earth. This Maui property has an absolutely amazing view for the price. The grounds and pool are beautiful and very well maintained. This location is only a short drive away from all the most popular spots of West Maui.

What makes this condo unique

My condo is a corner unit with a 270 degree heart stopping ,jaw dropping view. The whales breach through the months of December- April. The turtles feed below my 6 foot side window that looks out to the small private beach. Snorkeling in front of the condo which is also private. Rainbows can be seen often over the ocean after a light tropical rain shower.

Small but lovely unit just as others have described.

  • 5 of 5

Eileen's description of the condo is spot on. This is a great mellow getaway with just enough to do close by. The condo grounds are immaculate and the pool is sublime. Would certainly stay again. One criticism: The housekeeper barely - if at all - cleaned the floor in the bedroom. Equipment for cleaning ourselves was lacking (no vacuum and no "Swifter" inserts for the tool found in the bathroom closet). Bathroom is a bit dated, but everything works and the main sitting room is utterly peaceful.

Great unit for 2

  • 5 of 5

We really liked this unit. As others have mentioned the views are spectacular. Makes you want to stick around for dining too. We were going to eat out a lot but wound up bringing take out food back for several dinners. Yelp helped a lot to discover close food options. The fans in the kitchen and bedroom were very effective.

The beach is quite shallow after the first drop off so one can stand in the waves out to at least 50 yards. Lots of sandy bottom makes for easy swimming. Maybe snorkeling is better at some close local spots like Kapalua Beach but maybe I didn't know how to get the most out of snorkeling here. This beach is uncrowded which is really nice. Turtles came up towards the end of the afternoon. Fun to watch them in the surf close into shore and from the balcony. I think the whale season ends by May (we didn't see any but that's OK).

Little slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked a few nights here for a special getaway in August 2015. It was absolutely perfect. Every morning we took a short walk to town to get coffee and breakfast. They had an amazing farmer's market too! Best mangos I've ever had!

We spent most of the day in the ocean which is literally less than 20 steps away! The door is a keyless entry so you didn't have to worry about bringing it with you to the beach. The beach is secluded so it's not busy with tourists. The sand is super soft and the waves are gentle enough for kids but active enough to body surf.

The condo was so light and bright-you feel as if you're on the water. It's an end unit so the extra window makes all the difference. It was like being in an amazing beach treehouse.

We ate out most of the time but the kitchen had all of the essentials (except Tupperware so maybe grab some sandwich baggies at the store for your stay).

We loved Phat Sushi down the road, maybe a 5 minute drive. It's BYOB which you can buy at the liquor store next store.

And I can't forget the sunsets! They were spectacular!! So romantic and special. We hope to be back soon! Thank you for having us!

Great Property and Great Owner to Deal With!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time and loved staying at the Piece of Heaven Oceanfront Condo at the Kuleana Resort. The Property is really nice and the location is fantastic with incredible views. We had fun watching the sea turtles right off our lanai and there is great snorkeling right off the resort. This place has it all including a great owner to deal with.

Million dollar view...

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the Kuleana! It was beautiful and quiet..just what we needed. I would give 5 stars if there were curtains for privacy at night and the worn tub grips were removed. Other than those minor details, it was perfect!

perfect for 2

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days. Amazing views, no obstruction with other buildings. Private beach with even a snorkel area. Really great. The condo could be updated a little more, but pretty much everything you needed was there. We overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.

A few of my favorite activities include taking a ride on the road to Hana, whale watching from the condos lanai and snorkeling at Black Rock in Kaanapali.

The road to Hana is quite an adventure. Wear your swimsuit, start early (i leave at 7 am) and pack a cooler since you will be out all day. There is a CD I have left for guests to borrow which will help guide you to many beautiful waterfalls and natural pools. The best part of the trip is a swim at beautiful Hamoa beach, a little ways beyond Hana. Try to complete your journey before sunset since the road is very narrow and will be difficult to navigate at night.

If you have come to Maui from December through April, you will most likely see mother and baby whales breaching. I enjoy sitting on the lanai with binoculars to get a closer look at these amazing creatures. But don't worry, you do not have to sit and wait to see a whale, you will surely see many if you peer out the window on the drive to and from the condo.

Snorkeling is a must on Maui. Go to Snorkel Bobs or any other dive shop and rent snorkel gear by the week (pretty cheap). Keep your gear in the car since you never know when you will want to snorkel. I have also left a copy of Maui Revealed in the condo which directs you to some of Maui's best snorkel spots. Black Rock is a good place to snorkel at the end of Kaanapali beach ( a short walk from Whalers Village) and has beautiful fish, coral, turtles and even baby octupus. This area can become crowded with tourists by the afternoon so go early. There is a conservation a short drive up the road, Honolua Bay, which has amazing fish and coral as well. Or if you want to stay close to the condo, you can snorkel off the beach a few steps away and swim with a turtle or two who feed off the rocks right below the lanai.

These are just a few of my favorite activities on Maui. I hope you enjoy your stay and come back soon!

Mahalo,

Eileen
