About Steven Milliken

I grew up in Eastham and live just down the road. I love the Cape and it’s beauty. The scenic outlooks, beaches and the ocean. I enjoy nature and love to visit natural habitats with its wildlife. While growing up I worked on party fishing boats and then later became a captain running boats. A lifetime on the sea I go whale watching with the Dolphin Fleet and do this to this day. I love the water and often go boating privately and go diving for lobsters or just for fun. I travel when I can and enjoy spending time with my family when possible.

Steven Milliken purchased this townhome in 2011

Why Steven Milliken chose Cape Cod

The property was once owned by my family in the 1800’s as a farm and then later sold. A motel was built. Over time it was bought and sold until one day it was torn down and was going to become a large condominium complex. I hope to someday pass this on to family members returning it back to the family to enjoy.

I had the opportunity to buy the property and stop it from what I thought would not be in the local communities interest, (who wants a bunch of condos in a small quiet town?) so I purchased the property and finished off the first part of the property. I would like to add to the property something that would benefit the town and keep a country look for this location while giving renters a one of a kind experience while staying here, giving a Cape feeling but with a modern, luxurious comfort for the tenant.

What makes this townhome unique

The property is centrally located in Eastham (as well as Cape Cod). Multiple beaches are with 4-5 minutes of the house. This includes the many bay beaches, 2 ocean beaches (known as some of the top 10 beaches in the world) as well as a few ponds. (All good for swimming and fishing) The windmill is located right across the street. During the summer there are multiple events from live music (ends at 8pm) to craft shows. They are family oriented and free for the general public. 2 local stores, a deli, library, post office as well bus stop all within walking distance. Also within ½ mile is the bike trail (Cape Cod rail trail) and national seashore visitor center (exhibits, walking and bike trails) both Chatham and Provincetown are about 20-30 minutes away (20-25 miles). The house itself is new in 2012 and exquisite for Eastham, it has a bright, enriching Cape Cod beach feel but with the luxury of modern needs, with central air, wifi and full kitchen to cheery rooms each with modern flat screen tv/ dvd players. Just compare properties and see for yourself, although being a little bias I think one of the nicest rentals in Eastham!

Immaculate and perfectly located!

This place is in fantastic shape — clean and well-furnished. My girlfriend and I found the modern kitchen especially wonderful. Perhaps the best part about the home is it's location. It's a minute walk from the Plymouth/Brockton bus stop in Eastham, there's a supermarket across the street, and the Salt Pond Visitor Center and Nauset Light Beach are a few minutes by car.

My family and I just got back from a wonderful vacation at this beautiful Cape Cod townhouse! We've been vacationing on the Cape for many years, and this was, by far, our favorite place to stay! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for three adults. The kitchen was well equipped and the A/C was much appreciated, as we were there for one of the hottest weeks of the summer (or so I'm told!). The location was great. Easy access to bay beaches and at least three of the National Seashore ocean beaches within a couple miles. Tip for those over 62, a lifetime National Parks pass is only $10 and gets you into all National Seashore beaches (parking is usually $20/day without pass). Great restaurants in the area, too! My sister and I also ran the Falmouth Road Race this year, and being in this location made getting to and from so easy. We also took runs on the the bike trail, road bikes, and stand up paddle boarded on the Salt Pond located right down the road. Similar to other posts, the home is located on the main road, and traffic can be heard, but my family tends to be heavy sleepers, so we did not find it an inconvenience. Steve was great at addressing any of our questions right away! We look forward to spending another vacation at this location in the future!

Excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5

This home is even nicer than in the pictures. It is beautifully furnished, clean, and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the kitchen was in terms of supplies and cookware if you decide to eat in. Its location is perfect for access to Orleans, Chatham, Dennis, Provincetown, and numerous beaches. While we did not use the backyard during our stay, it is very nicely landscaped with a covered patio set and grill. If we return to Eastham next year we will definitely stay here again!

Very happy

  • 5 of 5

I typically have a very difficult time being comfortable away from home. I rarely feel that the accommodations are clean enough to fully relax. I did not feel that way at all in this home. It was very clean, and decorated with comfort and warmth. We couldn't ask for more!

The only thing I think worth mentioning as a potential negative is that this home is on the main road. This is very convenient, but the noise from the traffic is fairly constant.

Spring Lake, Mi

A fun time on the Cape.

We had a wonderful stay is this gorgeous townhouse. The location so close to the beaches and the bike path allowed us to leave our car behind and use our bikes as the preferred mode of transportation. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked. There were even fresh flowers waiting for us upon arrival. My only complaints are that there were no screens on any of the windows forcing you to use the air conditioning rather than fresh air (not our preference), and the backyard area needed some TLC.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review Stephanie We are always looking for ways to improve the property next year we plan on putting grass down in the back to make it even more attractive instead of having the mulch. Since the house was equipped with centralized air-conditioning we felt there was no need for screens but will consider placing screens in the windows for those who would like A natural breeze to blow through the house. It was wonderful to have you stay at the townhouse and hope to have you back next year Thanks again Steve

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

I just came back from a wonderful trip to Eastham with my son and niece! We stayed in this beautiful property, well located near the entrance to the National Seashore!

The home is magnificent! Very clean, well planned and laid out. The central air conditioning was great having separate controls for both floors!

The house is well equipped and the owner, Steve, came to check if anything was missing! Nothing was missing but Steve still showed up the next day with more kitchen equipment!

I will return to this property soon!

Thanks Steve!
