About Steven Milliken
I grew up in Eastham and live just down the road. I love the Cape and it’s beauty. The scenic outlooks, beaches and the ocean. I enjoy nature and love to visit natural habitats with its wildlife. While growing up I worked on party fishing boats and then later became a captain running boats. A lifetime on the sea I go whale watching with the Dolphin Fleet and do this to this day. I love the water and often go boating privately and go diving for lobsters or just for fun. I travel when I can and enjoy spending time with my family when possible.
Steven Milliken purchased this Townhome in 2011
Why Steven Milliken chose Eastham
The property was once owned by my family in the 1800’s as a farm and then later sold. A motel was built. Over time it was bought and sold until one day it was torn down and was going to become a large condominium complex. I hope to someday pass this on to family members returning it back to the family to enjoy. I had the opportunity to buy the property and stop it from what I thought would not be in the local communities interest, (who wants a bunch of condos in a small quiet town?) so I purchased the property and finished off the first part of the property. I would like to add to the property something that would benefit the town and keep a country look for this location while giving renters a one of a kind experience while staying here, giving a Cape feeling but with a modern, luxurious comfort for the tenant.
What makes this Townhome unique
The property is centrally located in Eastham 2470 route 6 (as well as Cape Cod). Multiple beaches are with 4-5 minutes of the house. This includes the many bay beaches, 2 ocean beaches (known as some of the top 10 beaches in the world) as well as a few ponds. (All good for swimming and fishing) The windmill is located right across the street. During the summer there are multiple events from live music (ends at 8pm) to craft shows. They are family oriented and free for the general public. 2 local stores, a deli, library, post office as well bus stop all within walking distance. Also within ½ mile is the bike trail (Cape Cod rail trail) and national seashore visitor center (exhibits, walking and bike trails) both Chatham and Provincetown are about 20-30 minutes away (20-25 miles). The house itself is new in 2012 and exquisite for Eastham, it has a bright, enriching Cape Cod beach feel but with the luxury of modern needs, with central air, wifi and full kitchen to cheery rooms each with modern flat screen tv/ dvd players. Just compare properties and see for yourself, although being a little bias I think one of the nicest rentals in Eastham!

Thank you Steve, we had a wonderful stay!
Everything about this property is exceptional - immaculate (and I'm picky), comfortable beds, central air (hard to find), 2 1/2 baths, comfortable furniture in living room, great TV's, well appointed kitchen. As stated in other reviews this property is right on Rt. 6 so if you want serenity like you are in the bird sanctuary, don't rent this place. If you want convenience to the entire National Seashore from Eastham to the Province lands, I would highly recommend this property. It is 5 minutes at best from Visitors Center, Coast Guard and Nauset beaches. With traffic - 15-20 minutes from Marconi and about 1/2 hour from Head of the Meadow. 5 minutes from Orleans for convenience and is directly across from Eastham Suprette. The pictures do not do it justice. This is not a place to pass up for this price.
One of the nicest places you could rent! It is unfortunate that it is literally on Rte 6 with unceasing traffic and nearly impossible left turns.
I'm sorry to see you rated the townhouse with 1 star! We do our best to make the stay the best it can be . The location is mapped on the site and if you've been to the cape before you know the traffic is tough in July and August. I feel badly that you needed to give such a low rating for the July traffic alone and saying its one of the nicest places you could rent. I thank you for saying how nice it was and I wish I could do one thing about the traffic, it often drives me crazy too.. I hope your next visit to the cape is better and with less traffic frustration.
Convient to everything
Had a wonderful week on the Cape. This property is convient to everything. No surprises. Exactly as described. Some have complained about traffic noise, but honestly, as a city girl, it did not bother me in the least. Steve is a pleasure to deal with. Great property. You will not regret renting this home.
Another perfect vacation!!! We love this home & will be back again next year.
Well maintained, clean, and well stocked property located in Eastham--about the "middle" of Cape Cod
We spent 3 nights at this property in early September. The location was perfect for touring all of Cape Cod--however, it is located on busy Rte 6 and can be noisy--and isn't a property I would have selected had I known. We drove past the property twice, not expecting it to be directly on the highway.
Once inside, the property is in excellent condition and very clean. We had one issue with the TV not working correctly, and the owner himself arrived to fix it--but it took over 24 hours and several text messages and phone calls for this to happen. He offered us a whale watching trip or some wine for our "inconvenience" but we never received either.
If you're looking for a vacation retreat with a relaxing location and view, this is not it.
Weekly activities at the windmill which include arts & Crafts, live music and other seasonal events. The bike trail and kayaking locations are just minutes away. Cape Cod National seashore and visitor center are just around the corner. The local bus (the flexbus) stops on location all Cape town travel. Walking distance to historic buildings and landmarks of Eastham.
