Charming and Delightful!

  • 5 of 5

I spent two weeks in the lovely Sugarbush Cottage on Shelburne Farms in October, 2017. The cottage is well appointed and equipped with plenty of amenities. Private and nestled amongst the trees on the magnificent grounds of the farm it's ideal for long walks and a true Vermont Farm experience. Walking distance to Lake Champlain and just a short drive to everything that Burlington and the surrounding areas have to offer. The hosts Kate & Marshall were nearby and always readily available. I look forward to returning to this idyllic setting and adorable cottage.

Many thanks to Kate and Marshall

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Kate & Marshals for 2 weeks in June. All I can say is fantastic stay for 2 adults and a golden doodle. We packed essentials that we didn't need and Kate even had provisions for us till we could get to the store. The farm is awesome and there is a view of the lake and mountains from the screened porch. Grady (the dog) had free reign and was able to play with the Webbs grand dog during the stay. Liked it so much we are planning to return next year same time. Thanks to Kate and Marshal for being the perfect hosts!

Tranquil, restorative, and convenient

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. Tucked away in the woods, while open to vast fields and vistas, it is the best of all worlds while on vacation. We had family visit and join us for dinner, and there was plenty of space to spread out and sit comfortably. There are wonderful breezes that blow through, and plenty of fans throughout. The cottage is clean, organized, and well maintained. Kate was available for all of our questions even though she herself was traveling. This truly was a home away from home and we would gladly stay here again.

Very Nice!!!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed two weeks at the end of May at the Sugarbush Cottage. It is comfortable, well maintained, and quiet. Shelburne Farms is a wonderful location. While the house has everything needed for a short or long stay, it is worth remembering that it is not air conditioned. We will certainly return.

Lovely cottage in beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, cozy, and well equipt cottage. The main floor is open floor plan with a beautiful kitchen (and plenty of serving dishes, great appliances plus a grill on the deck) perfect for cooking and serving...we hosted a family dinner. The dining room table was big enough for family game night. The main bedroom on second floor had huge windows with view of trees including a lovely flowering crabapple...great room to wake up in. Smalled bedroom with twin cots provided room for kids. The view from the living room and porch extends to the lake and you can watch sunset if you take a walk through the fields. We also enjoyed brunch at the inn. Grounds on farm are beautiful. Decor in the cottage is charming. Had a wonderful visit and hope to come back.
