HOME DESCRIPTION

This beautifully remodeled home (summer of 2012) features lots of open living space, private bedroom retreats and quality furnishings and kitchen. The owners have spared no expense to ensure that the rental guests are delighted with the beauty, functionality and comfort of the home. All the rooms have been tastefully decorated with interesting art pieces and arranged to make it really feel like your “home away from home.” When you enter the home, you will be instantly impressed with the openness and flow of the home. There is also a nice front patio area with a Weber barbeque and comfortable patio furniture if you want to hang out outside. This is a dead end street so even though the patio is in front, you won't be bothered by passing traffic.

As you come in the front door, you enter the living room which is adjacent but separate from the kitchen and den area. It is a large room with lots of light and comfortable seating so if you want to read your book or visit in a quiet space, you can do so. The kitchen opens to the dining area and the den where there is a big 60” TV mounted over the fireplace that you can easily see from the kitchen. The kitchen has new, high-end appliances, 2 ovens and everything you need to make a great meal. The den offers very comfortable seating, a gas fireplace and a blue-tooth speaker system that you can sync your iPad to so you can enjoy your own music. There is also a game room off of the den. Yes, 3 different areas for your friends and family to congregate! The game room also has a big screen TV and a ping pong table.

The master bedroom enjoys a nice secluded corner of the house so if you want to escape the group and take a nap, read a book or watch TV alone for a while, you can. It has a very comfortable king size bed, a large flat-screen TV, lots of drawer space and, of course, its own bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower that is beautifully tiled. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a door directly into the second bathroom, which also serves as the bathroom for the common living areas and the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and is located off the den at the front of the house so you will enjoy some privacy from the other bedrooms. There are also 2 comfortable single rollaway beds available in the game room. All of the bedding is provided for these.

Amazing house- clean and wonderfully stocked

Beautiful home, great neighborhood, close to beach. I think this may be one of the best vacation homes I've stayed in. Owners spared no detail in furnishing, and setting up the home for renters. Everything was clean and very well organized. Great home layout, especially for families. Highly recommend!

Family Wedding

spent two weeks in this lovely home for a family Wedding and get-together. The house was very spacious plenty of room for everyone. Only thing I found a little bit frustrating was the parking and too close to the HWY. No one had a real problem with the noise from the HWY but the two- people sleeping in the den area. But, no one seem to have a problem in the bedrooms. This was our second year renting a home in Morro Bay, hope to be back next year! Loved that my daughter got to bring her dog!

Noisy, too close to highway

The home is very nicely done, well stocked and clean. The problem was that the home is literally 20 yards from the highway, maybe closer. The noise from the traffic made it hard to hear the TV at night if we kept the doors or windows open. The noise from the highway also made it difficult to sleep. We were seeking a quit get away though, I would recommend this home to families with kids who are not there to relax in a quiet place. In addition to the noise we had to re-wash all the sheets and towels before using because they smelled moldy, like they were put away while still damp. After using the washer and dryer we realized that the dryer takes an exceptionally long time to dry the towels and figured the maids just didn't want to wait until they were completely dry. That being said, the linens are very good quality, but we didn't appreciate having to wash them. We did leave a note with our complaints, as requested, on the counter when we left. We hoped to hear back from someone about our complaints but we didn't. Although this next complaint isn't their fault it can be addressed and should be for future renters. There are no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms, we were here in Sept. and it was HOT!! really hot. Hotter than usual, like I said though, not their fault, but a simple fix. They did provide a portable fan, but it didn't work. Sleeping was hot and noisy. We will not re-book this home.

Owner's Response: We were very disappointed to receive this review. These guests stayed in the home for 2 weeks and never contacted us about any of these concerns. We are a local property management company with our contact information well-posted throughout the house and we encourage our guests to let us know of any issues. We appreciate the positive comments about the home provided in this review and we will diligently address those negative comments provided where they are within our control. We ask that the readers of this review also look at our other reviews when making your decision. We have many returning guests to this home. Our area has experienced unusually warm weather this summer and fall so the heat has been an issue and quite honestly homes here are just not equipped for these warm temperatures. We typically get strong ocean breezes here, creating ideal temperatures (68 to 72 in summer) - one of the main reasons people love coming to our area! This said, we would have been happy to provide more fans if we had been contacted and will pass on the suggestion for ceiling fans to the owner of the home. We sincerely apologize for the moldy smelling linens and have already addressed this with our housekeepers. We would have been happy to bring them new bedding and towels immediately if they had contacted us about it. We will also address the issue of the dryer not working well with the owner. Unfortunately we cannot change the location of the home but we do have a detailed map on our website that shows the exact location of the property and we have heard from many guests that the highway has not been an issue. But, as this guest pointed out, it was hot and they needed to keep the windows and doors open which made the highway noise much worse. We strive to provide all of our guests with an exceptional experience and we are available 24/7 for our guests.

Great place for a girls getaway!

We spent 5 days with 7 women in this beautifully decorated and renovated house. There was plenty of room for us all with comfortable beds and roll-a-ways. We could all sit at the table together for meals and games. We came from all over the country and were all over 60 with the oldest attendee being 89! We really were not up for a walk from the house to the beach which I am sure would not be a problem for young families. But there was access to the beach available with a short drive as well as to the shops, restaurants and grocery store. The fully stocked kitchen was wonderful as we ate most meals in and utilized the crock pot as well as other appliances. I would highly recommend.

memorial day getaway

We spent 3 days with our 2 teenage girls and their 2 friendsand found the home to beperfect for us. Plenty of room with lots of entertainment options for the girls. Only a short walk to the beach and a quick ride to town. The kitchen was excellent.

Fabulous Home

My family of 5 celebrated my father's 70th birthday in Morro Bay and enjoyed staying at this home so much we will definitley be repeat customers. The house is beautiful with all the comforts from home and designed in such a way that no one is on top of each other with plenty of room to privately relax while also having the perfect spaces for gathering together and playing games, bbqing or just plain hanging out. The beach is a short walk to the end of the road, the garage is big enough for a large SUV and the neighborhood is very clean and friendly. After staying at several different homes in Morro Bay, this one has won my heart.
