Located 50 feet above the oceans with a fantastic view to the West and wonderful sunsets, probably one of the nicest views on the West coast and on occasions in the winter you can see whales from the balcony. It is close enough to be able to throw a mongo into the oceans from the yard but with a good arm. The apartment has everything you would need for your stay A/C, BBQ, cable TV ,Internet and hot water, only need to bring your food and you have use of a washer and dryer. It is a two minute walk down the hill to a really nice beach which is much calmer than the North part of Rincon. The swimming is excellent and the sand never washes away. There is a fishing village there where you can buy fish a lobsters directly from the fishermen. A bit further down the beach is a little beach store right on the beach and you can buy beers for 1.25 and fried pies (Empanadilla) for 1.00.The neighborhood is very Puerto Rican and most everyone is family and we are not in the tourist area. You have you own parking space. The listing rated as four is for a family as there is only one bedroom

Convenient to everything. Wonderful Hosts!
Beautiful sunsets every night from your own private balcony. Location is close to everything you would want. Joe and Pilar are wonderful hosts who will make you feel right at home. The apartment has everything you need to cook meals, and there were beach chairs and towels available for our excursions. We have stayed here two years in a row, and will be returning for a third!! We love Rincon!
Thanks for the nice review. Joe
Great place to stay and the right price
Joe is a wonderful person to talk to and is there to help as needed.
This property is Perfection!
This beautiful little house is perched gracefully on a hill, providing the most breathtaking sunsets. We arrived late afternoon to meet Joe, who met us in town for a personal escort to his quaint cottage. Upon arrival we were presented with a parking space, and lovely first floor apartment with patio and small backyard to call our own for the weekend. As our gracious host insisted he help get us settled in, we began getting more comfortable with this little piece of paradise. With dog in tow, the allowance of a pet friendly atmosphere is always without compromise while selecting a property. In addition to being pet friendly, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered the comfort of a backyard for our Pup. Hands down, this is the most at home we've ever felt and were provided with everything that we needed, and more. Steps from the beach, a gracious host, a lovely cottage, and amazing sunsets... We will return. Thanks Joe!

VERY RELAXING WITH A GORGEOUS VIEW!
This apartment is very convenient to Rincon and is in a great location for travel all up and down the west coast of Puerto Rico. This part of the island is very green and lush, full of quaint little towns that are truly authentic Puerto Rico which is exactly what we wanted to experience. The apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy meals on the beautiful patio. It is the perfect size for two people taking it easy, a family with two kids, or maybe two close couples, as there is only one bathroom. The apartment is very close to anything you would need on your trip, and we enjoyed some roadside food and fresh fruit vendors! We ate breakfast and dinner out there every day of our 10 day stay. The weather was perfect, and the sunsets breathtaking. Simply heavenly. The beds were very comfy, and we loved listening to the Coqui frogs at night. We were so relaxed we lost all track of time and sometimes would forget what day it was! Joe and Pilar were wonderful hosts, very helpful and informative. We really enjoyed talking to them, and having dinner with them one evening. And of course Buddy the dog was sweet and friendly and greeted us every day when we came back from exploring. As we arrived the first night late at night, Joe was so very gracious to meet us and let us follow him to the apartment that first night. It would have been a little difficult to find in the dark. After that, we could find our way around very easily. We walked every day down the hill to the ocean, and a couple of evenings, went down there to watch the sun set. There was hardly anyone on the beach. This part of the shore is not very accommodating tho to swimmers, as there are a lot of large rocks. There are several places good for swimming and surfing tho, just a short car ride away. Joe has a guest book that everyone writes in, the things they enjoyed seeing, eating and doing while they were there. Be sure to read it for some wonderful ideas! We took way too many clothes, and as we had access to a washer, we will know better how to pack next year when we return!! We commented that "You know you've had a GREAT vacation when you are NOT ready to go home!!" Bob and Tina Hunter, Knoxville, TN
It is easy to be nice when you have guests like Tina and Bob, enjoyed their stay.
Two Weeks in Paradise
This sits on a hill high above beautiful Barrero Beach which is great for romantic walks, collecting sea glass, dips in the warm ocean waters and, depending upon the weather patterns, sometimes surfing.
The apartment has a fantastical view of the ocean, and you can hear the surf beating against the shore at night. I spent most mornings on the porch watching the roseate rays of sunlight chase away the night, and saw just as many technicolor sunsets.
Joe and Pilar were wonderful hosts and we hope to make a return visit.
Joel and Kay were fantastic guest. When they left it was like they were never there.
