Enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat just 15 minutes from Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay situated on the Luxury resort strip bordered by the Caribbean Sea.

This lovely one-bedroom luxury apartment is perfect for a quiet luxurious getaway. It features a lusurious 4-poster bed, deluxe walk-in shower and soaker tub, LED t.v., private patio facing the pool with the Caribbean sea behind it, high end appliances, and access to a gym, jacuzzi, pool and a pristine private beach.

Located on Montego Bay's Gold coast, The Palmyra Apartments hosts privately-owned suites in a gated community situated on a pristine white sand beach. The property boasts 2 seafront pool pavillions, reading rooms, expansive lobby and concierge desk, and is just minutes away from shopping centers, world-class golf courses, and dining options.

Furnished to the highest standards with heavenly beds, premium cable TV and high speed internet access.

Note: Unit has one air conditioning unit and must be manually turned on and off. Also, hot water heater is turned on by the red pilot light in bedroom - takes about 30 minutes to heat up; leave on for duration of stay.

Note - this apartment is located in the "Sabal" block, which is 2 of 3 'finished' blocks on the property; there is a 3rd unfinished block which is unoccupied, though seen from the beach and pool, (We are hopeful this block will eventually be completed despite significant delay). Occupancy is normally quite low, with owners living abroad, so the property is very quiet. The upside is that the beach and boardwalk provide an exclusive, private feeling as per the comments of our guests.

Guest has access, the entire property, including beach, gym, reading rooms, concierge, lobby, lounges. Note there is a $35 cash fee to restore the apartment after you leave, payable upon check-in at concierge. Your name will be at security.

Interaction with Guests: There is a 24-hr concierge available. A hostess will meet you at the lobby to greet you. I am available by phone and email. Check in time is 3pm, and check-out is 11am.

A few tips for when you visit. When you land, you can have an airport taxi take you to the Palmyra - we are 15 minutes along the main road east from the airport on the coast, right before you reach the Hilton resort. The fare is approx $35 to the Palmyra from the airport. The security guard here will have your name, and point you to the concierge desk in the Sabal block. Check in time is 3pm, and check-out is 11am. The concierge desk will collect the $35 housekeeping clean-up fee from you ($55 for a 2-bedroom units), which is used to restore the apartment after you leave, and if you require any other housekeeping visits during your stay it can be arranged in the same fashion. They will give you an electronic key so that you can access the room. If you have any questions about the room, just use the phone in the suite to call 0, and the concierge can answer your questions or connect you with maintenance, etc for any issues. At night, security guards man the concierge desk but they are normally able to respond to urgent requests as well.

Check in time is 3pm, and check out time is 11am - just let us know if you need consideration. And please bring your own beach towels for use, as they are not provided in the room.

I recommend that you ask the airport taxi to stop at the shopping plaza for groceries so that you can have a few things in the apartment; they may charge you extra for the stop but it's probably worth it. Whitter Village Shopping Centre has a Progressive Supermarket store there and is located half way between the airport and the Palmyra.

We are located next to the Hilton Resort which is just 15 minutes east of Sangster's Int'l airport. We are a 5 minute drive to nearby shopping centre Whitter Village, Blue Diamond supermarket and "Scotchies Boston Jerk Centre" located to the west of us. We are a 5-minute drive east to local Jamaican restaurants including “Father Bull”, “Chillout Hut” and the “Drunken Squid”, where you can dine on the waterfront in a quaint laid back atmosphere. Yacht Club, Sugar Mill, Robby's Diner, Mystic India, and Pier One all offered complimentary car services for dinner in case you do not have a rental car. Some of these venues offer specials seasonally including (subject to change of course): Sugar Mill offers Palmrya residence a 20% discount per the manager; Robby’s Diner has 2 for 1 lobster Fridays and the Montego Bay Yacht club has 2 for 1 lobster on Wednesday night.

On request, a cook can visit to prepare meals; for $40/visit, she can make several meals during one visit once you have provided the groceries.

If you like, we can arrange fishing trips and/or kite surfing with our local experienced guides, Karrinton, Judith, and Andrew, or arrange rides to Negril or Ocho Rios through our recommended drivers, Patrick or Kemar.

During your visit, if you want to try taking the local shared taxis to go in and out of town, you can walk back to our gate, cross the street at the lights and pay a local taxi about $2/per person each way; you may ask our security guard to assist if you like. Or the concierge desk can assist in calling a private driver, more costly but it is private. It is the norm for taxi drivers to charge a hefty night-premium for drives after midnight.

And please remember to bring your own beach towels, as those are not provided in the apartment!

Beach and Property were beautiful!!

Apartment was as pictured, clean and very comfortable.

and Hostess was vice nice and super accommodating! I have stayed at many self catering places in Jamaica and hands down this was the nicest.
