Two 2 Bedroom Apartments plus Studio Nr To Shops, Boardwalk Restaurants and Bar

This is a brand new recently converted building consisting of two, 2 bedroom apartments plus a studio, just across the road from the Barbados Fertility Centre. The second bedroom in Lower Camelot has an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. This room can be used as a self contained studio apartment (sleeps 2) because it has it's own entrance. Walk east on the new boardwalk to the popular Accra beach or stroll west along the picturesque beach to the Hilton. Swim and snorkel in the lagoon out front or surf the barrier reef just beyond. Enjoy fabulous views from the elevated balconies and marvel at the colorful sunsets. Relax on the sea side patio in the shade of the almond tree and watch the fish jumping and the frigate birds and pelicans gliding over the brilliant and glittering sea.

Wave Surfing: This property is located right in front of a good left hand surf reef break. There are other excellent surf breaks (including 'Brandons' and 'Sunset at Accra') within easy walking distance along the beach. Best time of year for these local breaks is from January to May. March and April are usually the best months. When the surf is up it can last from 3 to 6 weeks, with best conditions on a rising tide at any time of the day.

Snorkeling and Scuba Diving: Good snorkeling is available all along the coast and within easy walk from the property. There is a small lagoon nearby where you can feed the fish with bread. Hundreds of fish will eat the bread right from your hand. Just outside the reef there are a couple of good scuba diving locations. Local Scuba groups visit these spots regularly.

Sailing and Horse Racing: You can rent a Hobie cat from beach operators in front of Coconut Court hotel 2 minutes walk along the beach from the property or just relax with a drink in hand and watch the Yacht Club regattas from the comfort of your elevated balcony (winter months) They tack up the coast and come so close to shore you can hear the captain calling the orders.

In addition you can walk to the Garrison Savannah and place a bet on your favorite horse or hang out with the locals either in the Grand Stand with a coctail in hand or in one of the tents in the grounds and join a card game.

Master bedroom with king size 4 poster bed, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and private veranda facing the sea. Second large bedroom with 3 single beds, 2 ceiling fans and air-conditioning. 2 bathrooms, each with large shower, WC and hand basin plus two wall cabinets. Landing with utility cupboard containing washer/dryer machine and shelves.

Kitchen/dining room (Optional A/C - see rates) consisting of Cedar cabinets, Corian type counter top, stainless steel fridge/freezer, dish washer, electric stove top, under counter oven, microwave cooker, electric kettle, toaster, dining table with 6 chairs, and high speed internet. Large living room (Optional A/C - see rates) consisting of 3 piece wicker suite, flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, ceiling fan, table lamps and large veranda with table and 6 chairs facing the sea, all with wonderful views.

Linen and towels are provided. Apartment is cleaned once per week. No smoking and no candles please.

This apartment is self catering. Although we provide, garbage bin liners, toilet paper, liquid soap, laundry liquid, etc., we ask that you replace these when used up and leave the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it on arrival.

Spacious apartment with spectacular views.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Upper Camelot and can honestly say that it is the best apartment we have ever rented! Upper Camelot was perfect for our family, we have 2 teenagers, one male and one female, so their bedroom was very large and actually had 3 single beds in it and therefore was not a problem for them to share the room.The apartment is so well equipped which does make it feel like a home from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast on the balcony each morning, staring out at the spectacular sea view. We even spotted sea turtles on several occasions.

The location of the apartment is very convenient, close to supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops if you wish to travel around.

On arrival, we were met by Alexis who is very friendly and informative. Should there have been any issues then she was only a phone call away but we did not need to call her as everything went smoothly. We would not hesitate to recommend Camelot to family and friends. We only arrived back home this morning but we are missing it already. We hope to return one day.

Comfortable, great views and perfect beach

We needed a place to accommodate 11 the first week and 5 the second week, as our adult kids & their friends joined us the first week. Camelot House turned out to be the perfect place. By renting the whole place the first week, 11 of us enjoyed ourselves and didn't feel cramped. The second week, we had just the upstairs apartment and it worked great.

Alexis is so helpful in the planning stages. She answered all our questions and did a little shopping for us, so we would have some basic foods after our late arrival. We only had one issue with an electrical outlet not working and it was fixed within 2 days. We knew Alexis was only a phone call away, if needed. Juliette does such a wonderful job of cleaning and is such a wonderful ambassador of Barbados, as she is so friendly and welcoming.

The beach right off the back porch has a rocks to ease the waves and provide a small pool area. It is so nice that it is also popular with the locals and we were able to meet a number of Barbadians while going for a swim. One recommended The Stream restaurant, where he works, and it turned out to be an excellent dinner.

We would certainly stay at the Camelot House again when we visit Barbados again.

FABULOUS

we rented the entire home for 10 nights and the place was fabulous. The property manager, Alexis, took care of our every need for anything that arose during their our stay. I would highly recommend renting this location and if anyone has any questions they should contact Alexis who was incredible to deal with.

Camelot House

We stayed at Lower Camelot this year for a 2 week period. We have been return customers for a few years now and have also stayed at the Upper Camelot last year. Camelot House has everything you need for a relax getaway. The view is unbeatable and the location is walking distance to some very nice restaurants. The farmer's market nearby is now open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A very convenient place to stock up on fresh produce. Grocery stores are also easy to get to by bus with a bus stop right next door.

The Upper Camelot is very spacious with a full kitchen. The Lower Camelot though smaller, has an unbeatable veranda with its very own almond tree which provides ample shade and privacy. Mark Hiorns (owner) and Alexis (property manager) are very friendly and always reachable for any assistance required. They take very good care of their clientele.

This house is suited to both couples or families and is safe and secure. Easy to lock up at night. The beach is safe for young children. We are already booked for next year and look forward to another blissful holiday.

Wonderful

We stayed at Upper Camelot for two weeks. It is an absolutely gorgeous apartment with everything you could possibly need. (Although being Americans, we didn't use the cricket set.) It was great to be able to walk to terrific restaurants including Mama Mia and Tapas. Other than that we hung out on the two decks and just looked and listened to the ocean. Alexis was a pleasure to deal with both online and when we got to Barbados. We had a small plumbing problem and Alexis immediately sent Mark, the property owner, over to fix it. Great guy.

Tip for golfers- If you call Barbados Golf Club they will set you up w/a deal $110 U.S.- includes clubs, pull cart, greens fees and free round-trip transportation from the apartment. With that deal and bus service outside of the apartment there is no need to rent a car.

It is the location of the Old Colonial Officers Quarters and Army Hospital, (now Pavilion Court) It is also the beach entrance to the new Boardwalk. The Savannah consists of the Main Guard, a beautiful Victorian building complete with a large collection of Old Cannons, (put together by Major Mike Hartland), the Barbados Turf Club (Horse Racing), the Museum, and a vast open area of sports grounds for Rugby, Football, Cricket and Basketball all surrounded by walking and running tracks
