Competition at University Tennessee
Our family of six plus our parents loved this home! We could play outside, visit the farm and animals, or cool off inside. Plenty of beds and comfy couches made sleeping 8 easy. We would love to come back for our next trip to Knoxville!!
Great place to stay
We were here at the farm for 2 weeks 1 of which we were joined by our son and his family. We loved the pease of the farm yet a short ride to down town Knoxville. We were there house hunting and were successful. We will have family coming down to visit and we will always recommend Price Farm for those we can’t accommodate.
Relaxing but Dirty
My family and I went to TN for an extended family get together. When we arrived I was so excited to relax since we had been driving for a day and a half straight. I noticed right away how dirty the floors were, I'm not sure they were swept. There was a large plastic lid sitting on the living room floor beneath the front window, it made very obvious that the floors were not taken care of, that along with dirt and dust bunnies all over the place. The table cloth was sticky and filled with chunks of food, I couldn't even get it clean so we took it off. The kitchen cupboards were filthy, with chunks of food all over inside of them and the outsides were sticky and greasy. There was no kitchen rag to wash dishes with, so we had to use one from in the bathroom, that itself was dirty as well, when I opened it it had hair all over in it. I have stayed in many VRBOs in the past and they all seem to have a nice little supply in the pantry to help with food prep. Not sure if it is a "cultural" thing, since I've only stayed in VRBOs in the north, but there was almost nothing in the pantry to assist with food and all the cooking oil was stale. It was dirty and ill supplied in many areas and the main shower needs an adjustment for the spray, it was a very painful shower. Also I was a little shocked we had to buy our eggs, other farms we've stayed at, we were giving eggs in the morning, it came with the rental, here we had to buy them, a little strange, but could be a cultural thing as well.
We did have a good time there though connecting with family. There was a large enough eating area for meals and a great living room area for evening fun. The view out the kitchen window was AMAZING! There were comfortable beds, and cute bedrooms.
I wouldn't stay here again, but with a flexible view on cleanliness and bringing your own linens and kitchen supplies, it's a nice place to kick back.
need more tv channels and please clean the spider webs in the house .
Please place a sign somewhere letting your customers know that the garden is for viewing only. My family and I was only looking and admiring how beautiful it was we knew not to touch it. The owner came by and I will not go into what she said ,but it was how she said it!
Peaceful Country Home
Our family of five had a comfortable stay in this sweet, country home. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the views were beautiful! We definitely hope to come back next year.
