Good accommodation a block from lift

Had a great stay at Glacier Lodge. Hot tub and pool were positives after skiing along with Merlins for Apres Ski. Liquor store and grocery within a block. Would stay again.

Great location, comfortable condo!

This was great for our family of four and could even accommodate two more with the murphy bed. Great to have two full bathrooms. Unit was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Enjoyed having a view of the courtyard and pool. Definitely recommend this condo!

NIce apartment in a fantastic location

Having flown from Australia for our first ski holiday in Canada, we were so glad that our apartment experience at Glacier Lodge was a dream. Check-in is a breeze, the apartment was clean, tidy and warm and the location near the Blackcomb ski lifts is so convenient. We were a bit concerned about being in the upper village when we booked but the free shuttle almost at the door, the shops (including equipment hire) and cafes nearby and the proximity to the ski lifts completely dissolved those thoughts. I highly recommend Glacier Lodge and this apartment to anyone considering a ski holiday in Whistler.

Location was great, staff were really friendly.

The unit we stayed in was OK, could use some improvements. Kitchen table was held together with plumbers tape. Kitchen chairs were not comfortable and living room couches need replacing. Overall, it was just fine. Worked well for a couple, would not be good for two couples.

Owner's Response: Marilyn, Thank you for taking the time to review and thank you for the 4* rating. We have been renting this property for almost 15 years and have done an extensive renovation and continue to upgrade the property to ensure it stays both current and comfortable for our guests. During this period we have rented to many families/groups of up to 6 persons and never had a comment about it not being able to accommodate 2 couples. In fact with our flexible bed configuration (both the ensuite master and the enclosed loft) having the option to be either a king or two twins, the sleeping arrangements are both comfortable and flexible. In addition - with a wall bed in the living area - the additional separate sleeping area allows for a REAL mattress for full comfort as opposed to a pullout. We are unaware of any issues with the couches or table and have not heard of issues either prior to or after your stay. Our cleaning staff monitor the property very closely during/after each stay to ensure it is clean and comfortable however we continue to monitor. Additionally, as you commented, the location is superb being RIGHT at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. We are glad you had a great stay. Peter

Damage Deposit:
We pre approve a damage deposit for the amount of $500. This is activated at the front desk on arrival/check-in by staff. This is not charged at all, this is an approval only. On departure should there be any damage to the property the client will be contacted bu us regarding damage and outcome. If you have any questions regarding this please dont hesiate to contact us prior to your arrival. Please make life easier by discussing any damage that may have occurred prior to check-out. Excessive cleaning will be charged back to the client.
Balance payment is refundable ( less credit card fees), if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance.
Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking. These refunds issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable.
Delayed arrival: no refunds . We are not responsible for arrival delays
Delivery Instructions and access Information:
All guests receive a detailed email regarding your arrival and check-in once final payment has been made
Late reservation Payments:
Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation . Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged
Reservation Changes:
Property Sale/Damage-We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization . You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.
Minimum Age Requirement to Book: 25 years firm.
