About Debra Arnold
This cabin has been apart of our family for three generations. My husband and his father purchased this cabin as a fishing retreat in the 90s. They spent many of summers wading and fishing this native trout creek. This fishing legacy has been passed to my children. They have learned to swim, fish, and raft in the Hot House Creek. We also have a family pet, Buttercup, lab mix that enjoys the fresh clear water just as much as the kids. (My husband and I are both educators and value outdoor living with our children.)
Debra Arnold purchased this Cabin in 1992

small but cozy and clean
Nice cozy little cabin. We spent most of our time on back porch, creek is beautiful. downstairs is a little small but very clean and well stocked
Very quiet and peaceful.
Great location next to creek. Not hard to get to.
Secluded Peaceful Cabin
The cabin and property is very secluded and peaceful. The only things I would recommend to the owners...
1) Do a more thorough cleaning inside taking note to remove cobb webs.
2) Trim low hanging limbs and undergrowth around property. The creek is beautiful but it is hard to enjoy with the limbs blocking the water itself and stops sunlight from peeking through. The limbs made it really difficult to fish.
Overall though it is an awesome, cozy, peaceful and secluded cabin. The road leading to it is beautiful. The driveway as others have mentioned is difficult to navigate but of you utilize turn around right past it and back down the driveway to the cabin it fixes that problem.
Would stay again. My mother in law wishes it was her home.
would not ever come back!!!
The driveway was so narrow that we couldn’t turn our large SUV around, so we had to back up the drive! It had rained and it had washed large ruts in the road so when you backed up you got stuck in the ruts! They have no TV in the living room and we wanted to watch the college football playoffs! The one upstairs was very small and blurry. The second bedroom is all open. As you come up the stairs you see the bedroom and anything or anyone in! Not private with two couples at all! We were very disappointed in the cabin and we want be back!!

We are sorry the 4 inches of rain ruined your trip to our rustic cabin. Unfortunately, North GA weather was below freezing during your stay. We are extremely disappointed you turn off the heat when you departed. All the plumbing froze solid which resulted in over $1000 to repair.
The drive way is scheduled to be repaired. Two new TVs will be installed in March.
Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cabin. We had a great time. Loved the peace and quiet and the constant sound of the water. We will stay again Lord willing, in the future. God bless you.
Awesome rustic comfortable cabin. Quiet and secluded, just what we ordered. Even the rain didn't stop us from relaxing and enjoying ourselves. I would recommend this cabin to others and plan on coming back ourselves.
Hot House Creek Cabin sits about 1 mile back from Toccoa River. We have stocked the stream for the last 20 years.
Rafting and Hiking are available 5 miles north. We can Float in tubes for a family at the price of $20.
We keep a binder in our cabin full of activities you can do that will meet everyone interest.
