The Pic vert is a charming barn conversion, full of original features with beams throughout and honey colored exposed stone on a number of walls. The four bed cottage is very comfortably equipped to give a home from home feel The open plan ground floor has a very well equipped kitchen with gas cooker/fridge freezer , dish washer and microwave. There is a large selection of crockery and cooking utensils with kettle, coffee machine and toaster.
The seating area has 2 sofas and two armchairs along wth a tv and dvd player for those quieter moments.English and french tv are available.

The cottage forms part of a five cottage private hamlet dating back to the Hundred Years War in the 15th century. Set in two and a half acres of landscaped gardens with stunning views it offers a large pool, a smaller heated pool and a paddling pool and numerous activities to enjoy such as football, badminton, basket ball, table tennis

Set in established gardens the site offers many different types of holidays.For families it offers a secure space for children to play with table tennis, badminton, football,basket ball, trampoline and two swing areas to enjoy as well as our alarmed swimming pools (11m x 7m) paddling pool (3m) and a heated pool (9mx5m), fenced and set aside from the houses.
For couples wanting a calm environment, then profit from the gardens, woodland walks and a superb restaurant and bar just 5 mins walk away
For those interested in history this is the region of the Hundred years war with castles,beautiful bastide towns, Sarlat, Domme, Rocamadour and caves in abundance.
Alternatively for the more active we have several local golf courses, canoeing, the Dordogne river , horse riding, tennis, cycle paths ,golf courses, parascending, tree climbing parks,animal parks ,hot air balloon rides and aqua parks.
Failing all that then just enjoy the gastronomy of the area with fine Perigordine cuisine ( the films Chocolat and the Hundred Foot Journey were filmed in the area )and easy access to the wine areas of Cahors Bordeaux, Gaillac and Montbazillac

Les Espioles is in the village of Nadaillac de Rouge in south-west France. The main International Airports are Brive Vallee de la Dordogne 20 minutes drive away ,Toulouse,Limoges, Bergerac, Rodez and Bordeaux, which are approx 1 and a half hours drive.
We are located within 4 km of the beautiful Dordogne river and within 30 minutes of Sarlat, Rocamadour,Castlenaud,and an abundance of sports facilities such as canoeing, golf, forest adventures and parascending, horse riding, quad biking, paintballing,
There is a network of beautiful cycle paths along the dordogne and we even had the luck to have the Tour de France to pass our village in 2012
