Castle View is an extremely bright and spacious apartment with 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 twins, 2 showerrooms, a large kitchen with table and large lounge with dining table and fantastic bay window with views towards Edinburgh Castle. The apartment has been tastefully furnished with everything needed to ensure a comfortable holiday. The lounge has TV with BT Vision, DVD and CD player and attractive fire place with living flame fire. There is also a high chair and travel cot. The apartment has full gas central heating and wireless broadband. The kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cd player, large fridge/freezer and ample pots and pans etc. Castle View is situated in a great location within a short walking distance of Princes Street and The Old Town. Bruntsfield Links and The Meadows immediately opposite the apartment, is an open park area with pitch and putt course, tennis courts and play parks. A fantastic base from which to explore Edinburgh's many attractions.

Spacious and lovely apartment right in city centre

I live in Edinburgh, but we were needing somewhere larger than our own place to celebrate our joint 30th birthday with friends and this place was just perfect. The apartment is open and spacious from the moment you walk through the front door. All furnishings and decor was lovely and suited, with fantastic views across the Meadows to the castle from the living room window. Everything you could need was supplied, even dishwasher tablets and other cleaning products. The shower in the larger bathroom was great, the only thing that was a slight concern was the door to the bathroom swings quite far back and can hit the glass door of the shower cubical, which could potentially break the glass if its hit hard enough.

The owner was informative and great to speak to, although sometimes it takes a couple of days to get a response. We will be looking to book again later in the year and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to stay somewhere with some character for their visit to Edinburgh.

Fantastic base for Edinburgh

What a great place. On my trip to the UK from Australia to visit family we decided Edinburgh would be the best place to spend New Years Eve. The flat is perfectly positioned, a 15 minute stroll to the castle and another 5 minutes gets you to Princes Street and beyond. There is so much space that even a large family need not be tripping over each other. It is warm, clean and well equipped. There are really good restaurants and takeaways close by. Thai lemongrass was our favourite, only a 2 minute walk across the park. And Edinburgh is a fantastic city, vibrant and interesting. I honestly can't recommend the whole place enough, thanks very much.

Fantastic apartment

This apartment is perfect for a stay in Edinburgh. Really spacious, nicely decorated, clean, well equipped and a fantastic location. The apartment is bright & airy with a sensational outlook to the castle and over the meadows. It's a really pleasant walk into the city centre, and also has the coffee shops, brunch spots, restaurants and convenience stores of Bruntsfield and Marchmont just minutes away. The property owner was extremely accommodating with our check in and out requests and made the logistics really easy for us. We stayed with our 4 young children who loved the apartment and the location. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous appartment!

The apartment is really spacious and comfortable. It has warm efficient central heating and we were never cold even in February! The beds are all good quality with good quality bedding. The kitchen is really well appointed and had everything I needed to bake three wedding cakes!

Caroline is really helpful and approachable.

We were a party of seven adults and there was plenty of room. My daughter got married from the apartment and on the wedding day we added a bride, 3 bridesmaids, 2 photographers and a make up artist and we still had plenty of room to move!

In a convenient area for shopping and sightseeing. You can walk to the Royal Mile in under half an hour. The views are spectacular and always changing with the weather and people in the park.

Wonderful Location - Great for Groups

7 of us had a very comfortable stay in this gorgeous apartment! The view was great from the living area -a pretty park and the castle in the distance. Location was close to a market and to bus stops and with a healthy walk to the castle (about a mile). It was very well stocked with linens and kitchen necessities. Caroline was simply fabulous to work with and very responsive to anything we needed. Highly recommended!

Great accommodations

Great location and view. Wonderful atmosphere for 7 friends to enjoy each other's company in comfort. The owner was very responsive to every request and need. Convenient to bus and food market. Beautiful parks nearby and nice walk to the Royal Mile.
