Super cosy, clean and clean comfortable.
Ideal location for the best Salcombe and the surrounding area has to offer. Close to great beaches and both Salcombe harbour and Kingsbridge.
You certainly made the most of your few days here: up early, out exploring all day, and late back. So pleased you all enjoyed your stay at Vale Court Cottage and we hope to see you again soon.
Fantastic Stay, we will definitely come back next year.
Thank you much to Val and her husband, we had a fantastic time at Thatched Cottage. The cottage has everything you need, beds comfy, bathroom clean and modern. My dog Cookie enjoyed very much the garden. Very close to Salcombe, Hope Cove, and many other beaches. Also a very convince CO -OP shop for shopping but still close to Kingsbridge, only 10 min you can find Morrison and Tesco.
We will definitely come back next year. Lovely Place.
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Vale Court Cottage and made the most of all the amenities literally on your door step in the village, and the beautiful beaches in the area. We hope to see you again next year.

Lovely location in small village not far from the coast. Lots of nice coastal walks and coves to explore
What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is really beautiful, the grounds and the views are amazing and a really relaxing place to stay. We were welcomed by Val and her husband then to walk into find the scones cream and jam which was a real treat. The cottage is so well equipped.I would love to come and stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a break away.
lovely cottage, pretty, well cared for, excellent service
We loved our stay in this very pretty cottage; were greeted with freshly baked scones on day of arrival, delicious and a lovely touch! The cottage is very well stocked with kitchen equipment, store cupboard supplies etc and we had some very cosy dinners in.
Weather was not great over easter while we stayed so there was a lot of sitting by wood-burning stove though we did manage to get in some good walks.
Garden and views are lovely so would be great to come back again in kinder weather.
All in all, a lovely stay!
We are so pleased to hear that despite the weather you were able to make yourself cosy in the cottage and enjoy all of its amenities. We hope you will return again soon and be able to enjoy the sunshine in the lovely south facing garden.
Situated in the heart of the South Hams district of South Devon, Malborough lies between the sailing centre of Salcombe and the market town of Kingsbridge. A quiet little village that has two pubs, a bistro, a well-stocked supermarket, a post office and gift shop. Ideally situated for the wonderful National Trust coastal walks and the wild beauty of Dartmoor. There is a choice of several sandy beaches all within easy reach of the cottage, from small coves to wide-open sands - ideal for surfing and kitesurfing. Also close by is a leisure centre, steam railways, horse riding and golf. The historical seaports of Plymouth and Dartmouth are within a 40 minute drive.
