A very pretty 17th Century thatched cottage set amongst other rose clad thatched cottages in the village of Malborough. Vale Court Cottage has a unique location with beautiful views over fields towards Bolberry Down from the lovely south-facing patio and large secluded garden. On the ground floor there is a comfortable spacious living room with solid fuel / wood burning stove and French doors opening onto the large patio. Flat screen television with free view, DVD and iPod station. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen with electric range, microwave, dishwasher & fridge. Bathroom and utility room with additional toilet. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, one king, one twin and one single room. Outside there is a large secluded garden with wonderful views over open countryside. Separate area with parking for two cars.
Fantastic property. Amazing cottage with all the amenities you would ever need. Cupboards well stocked like home from home. (not that we used them as so many lovely places to eat in the area).
Gorgeous weather and the views from the master bedroom were wonderful. The garden was immaculate. We will be back.

Close to salcombe. Park and ride is a must into salcombe. Lots of other places to visit. Not forgetting Dartmoor zooalogical park. Walks from the door. Hope cove near by, good hotel for lunch and lovely views. Or just stay at home in that gorgeous garden, the view is amazing😎
Great location. Fabulous garden. Fully stocked kitchen and cosy lounge. Comfy beds. Just missed having a stand up shower for the week.

Vale Court is a cosy, homely cottage in an idyllic setting. The cottage has everything you need and more, it's was clean and well equipped. (It's like being at home!)
3 rooms upstairs are all good sizes and the double has a stunning view of the private garden and fields beyond.
Village is scenic and very peaceful and throughly enjoyed the lack of traffic, street lights and bustle of London.
Stunning view at Hope Cove about 8 mins away and Salcombe which is 10 mins away has a South Sands Ferry that takes you across to North sands where you can enjoy a lovely walk back into main street Salcombe.
Had great communication with owner Linda from the beginning of my enquiries until our return home. She is very friendly and professional and it was a pleasure to stay at this property.
I have already spoken with my family about visiting Vale Court again and my children have also asked when will we be going back! Highly recommend.
This cottage is delightful. It is full of character yet the rooms are a good size for this type of property. We had a very comfortable stay and Malborough is a lovely quiet village. The cost of our stay seemed very reasonable and was totally inclusive. The cottage was very clean and well-appointed. A nice touch was the card and bottle of wine to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. Vehicle access is a little tight, but there is a free car park just up the road. We will definitely recommend Vale Court to our friends.
We loved staying at vale court cottage, so cosy and welcoming. Very well equipped, tidy and well kept. Superb views from the garden which our little Jack Russell also loved also. We hope to return again thanks for sharing this little gem.
Situated in the heart of the South Hams district of South Devon, Malborough lies between the sailing centre of Salcombe and the market town of Kingsbridge. A quiet little village that has two pubs, a bistro, a well-stocked supermarket, a post office and gift shop. Ideally situated for the wonderful National Trust coastal walks and the wild beauty of Dartmoor. There is a choice of several sandy beaches all within easy reach of the cottage, from small coves to wide-open sands - ideal for surfing and kitesurfing. Also close by is a leisure centre, steam railways, horse riding and golf. The historical seaports of Plymouth and Dartmouth are within a 40 minute drive.

Deposit - A deposit of one third of the rates per week is payable on booking, the remainder to be paid six weeks before the commencement of the holiday. A returnable deposit of £100 is required.
One well behaved dog is allowed by prior arrangement with the owner.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price for full week bookings. Can be arranged for short stays at extra cost.
