Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This beautiful Condo complex is on the beach, two blocks North of the Oceanside pier and only five blocks from downtown Oceanside and the Civic Center. It is a gated complex on the beach with a gated underground garage. A good many of the units are owner occupied or used on weekends only, and as such the complex is quiet, restful and secure. And it's only about 150 steps to the less crowded end of the Oceanside City beach, i.e. north of the pier.

This ocean view unit is WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY, not fully ADA compliant, but close. The entry threshold has been lowered, door openings widened, and a shower with seat and grab bars added (see picture). We have frequent guests from Project Walk.

The unit offered is 1270 sq.ft, one of the larger units in the complex. Relax on the patio or living room and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. Also, this is a street level unit (no stairs). There is underground secure parking for two cars and an elevator from the garage to the street level. The beach is easily accessed through the complex or by the street. There are also two Jacuzzis spas just within the complex, one on each side of a gate to the beach; great during the day or in the evenings.

This is an ideal refuge for those northern snowbirds during the winter months and ideal for those southwest desert folks during the summer months. The Pacific Ocean breeze mitigates the temperature extremes. Spring and fall are delightful also and we get a lot of usage ourselves during these months when the unit is not rented. Longer term business people are welcomed; high-speed internet via cable can be made available.

This is a great home base for vacationers and foreign visitors with San Diego and Orange County attractions less than an hour away. There are many famous places to visit for sight seeing and fun, great restaurants and great shopping areas nearby.

The unit has two bedrooms and two baths with new granite vanities, one with the wheelchair friendly shower and one with a tub/shower-head. Also, there is a grab bar in the bathroom with the tub. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin sized beds. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a stacked clothes washer and dryer, extra set of linens, two TVs, mirrored sliding closet doors in the bedrooms, a large dining area, and an electric BBQ and outdoor chairs on the patio. We have tried to make your stay perfect by providing a complete comfortable rental.

We ask that you do not smoke in the unit. Also, no pets. Minimum rental period is a month. Period of rental does not have to start or end on the first or last day of the month.

A great place to live

The condo was clean and well supplied with the necessities. We had plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. It shows a little wear like any apartment that isn't new but has a clean feel and I love the Sofa. It has a nice view. The view is down a walkway and you can see the ocean. It is not a panoramic view until you walk about 50 feet out the walkway, it is quite nice. This complex is very well maintained. The walks to the apartment are really nice, lined with large potted plants. There is a nice clean fountain close to the patio door, that is really pleasant to see and hear. I had no problems with the owner or the realtor, they were all very nice to us. We are going back next year so I recommend this condo if you want a nice safe and secure place. The garage is under the apartments with a security gate. The whole complex is beautifully fenced and gated and landscaped. This is a one story first floor apartment. The area is great. We walked to a nice theater and to a street market every Thursday where you can purchase produce and many other things in the daytime and get a good meal in the evening while listening to some music from a live band. We really had a great time there. There is a lot to do in LA and San Diego.
